Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik untuk mengungkap bagaimana profil pengetahuan, kompetensi, dan sikap sains siswa terhadap literasi sains. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri di Kota Bandar Lampung. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan soal pengetahuan sains, item pernyataan sikap, lembar angket siswa, format wawancara guru, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik mengalami kendala khususnya pada kegiatan menanya, harusnya siswa yang lebih berperan dalam pengajuan permasalahan sains bukan guru. Profil pengetahuan dan kompetensi sains yang ditinjau dari soal berdasarkan masing-masing aspek konteks sains dengan pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di kelas, menggunakan pendekatan saintifik menghasilkan rata-rata nilai presentase sebesar 73,4% dan 25,3%. Selain itu berdasarkan analisa terhadap perekaman video, menunjukkan bahwa hasil indikator kompetensi yang terdiri dari menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, mengevaluasi dan merancang penelitian ilmiah serta menginterpretasikan data dan bukti ilmiah sangat sulit untuk dikaji dalam implementasi pembelajaran IPA Terpadu, dikarenakan kemampuan siswa yang hanya sebatas mengenal fakta dan belum mampu untuk menghubungkan keterkaitan masalah sains. Profil sikap sains siswa berdasarkan item pertanyaan pada masing-masing konteks sains yang menunjukkan peningkatan yang rendah hanya sebesar 11,5%, hal itu terjadi karena pengaruh kurangnya kriteria pemenuhan pada indikator menilai pedekatan ilmiah untuk inkuiri. Siswa dan guru menanggapi positif terhadap implementasi pembelajaran IPA Terpadu dengan pendekatan saintifik. ;--- The purpose of this study was to implement integrated science teaching by using scientific approach to reveal students profile in content, competency, and attitude in scientific literacy. The subject involved VII Grade Junior High School in Bandar Lampung City. The descriptive method with quantitative approach was used for the study. Data was collected by using test, attitude scale, questionare for teacher, and observation implement integrated science teaching. The results showed that experienced a particular constraint on the ask activities, should students be more involved in the filing of the problems science is not a teacher. The profile of content and competency of science which is reviewed from the test by each aspect the context of integrated science learning in the classroom, using a scientific approach has generate with the average value of percentage are 73.4% and 25,3%. In addition, analysis of video recording, generated the result of competence indicators explain, scientific phenomena, to evaluating and designing scientific in research, and to interpret the data and scientific very difficult to assess the implementation of the Integrated science learning, because students are only limited ability to know the facts and have not been able to connect science linkage problems. The profile of science students attitudes based on question items in each context of science indicates good improvement only 11,5%, because of the lack effect of criteria fulfillment on indicator assess the scientific approach to inquiry. Students and teachers show positive respond for implementation of an integrated science learning with scientific approach.
