Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan penulis terhadap pola asuh orang tua yang ada di Kelurahan Isola Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung yang bervariasi, sehingga berdampak terhadap perkembangan social emosional anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu 1) Mengungkapkan data, tentang pola asuh yang digunakanolehorangtuaanakusiadinidi KelurahanIsola 2) Mengungkapkan data tentang perkembangan social emosional anak usia dini di Kelurahan Isola 3) Mengungkapkan data tentang pengaruh pola asuh orangtua pada perkembangan social emosional anak di Kelurahan Isola. Penelitian ini didukung oleh gagasan konseptual teoritis tentang : Konsep PAUD, Konsep Keluarga, Konsep Pola Asuh, Kosep perkembangan social danemosionalanakusiadini. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah :terdapat pengaruh antara pola asuh orang tua terhadap perkembangan social emosional anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dekriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh orang tua di Kelurahan Isola KecamatanSukasari Kota Bandung yang memiliki anak usia dini (usia 3 – 5 tahun). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 120 orang. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan korelasi da nkoefisien determinasi, sedangkan arah antar hubungan antar variable diuji menggunakan regresi. Hasilpengujianhipotesisditunjukkandengannilai r = 0,614 dandidapatpersamaan Ŷ=-6.967+1.114X dan r2 = 0,3769. Temuan dari hasil penelitian yaitu 1) orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini di Kelurahan Isola Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung memiliki pola asuh yang cukup baik, dengan kategori cukupdisini yang dalampenerapannyaselalubersediameluangkanwaktu, memperhatikan kesejahteraan anak selalu memberikan tanggapan positif, menuntut hal positif, selalu membatasi, campur tangan, dan menggunakan kekuasaan secara bijak 2) perkembangan social emosionalanakusiadini di Kelurahan Isola Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung berada dalam kategori mulai berkembang 3) pengaruh pola asuh terhadap perkembangan social emosional anak usia dini berdampak secara signifikan dan positif, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai pengaruh dalam uji determinasi sebesar 37,69%. Polaasuh orang tua memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan social emosional anak usia dini, namun selain itu ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi perkembangan social emosional anak usia dini diantaranya factor lingkungan dan dari dalam anak itu sendiri.Diajukan rekomendasi bagi orang tua agar lebih memahami pola asuh, danbagi tutor PAUD agar lebih memperhatikan anak ketika di sekolah, sedangkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar meneliti faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan social emosional anak selain pola asuh yang menjadi focus penelitian ini.;--- The research was made based on the writer’s interest to varied parenting parents in Isola village, sub district Sukasari, Bandung city, which has impacts toward the growth of young children’s social emotional development. The purposes of this research are 1) Disclose the data, about the parenting which used by the parents in Isola village 2) Disclose the data about a the young children’s social emotional development in Isola village 3) Disclose the data about the impact of parenting parents toward the young children’s social emotional development. This research is supported by a theoretical conceptual idea about: the concept of early childhood education, a concept of family, a concept of parenting, a concept of young children’s social emotional development. The hypothesis of this research is there is an impact between parenting parents against the young children’s social emotional development. This research used a descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data collection technique was used is questionnaire. The population of this research was all of parents in Isola village who has young children (age 3-5 years). The number of samples are 120 persons. The hypothesis testing used correlation and coefficient of determination, while the aim of inter-relationship between variables was tested using regression. The result of hypothesis testing showed with the value of r = 0.614 and obtained the equation Ŷ=-6,967+1,114X and r2 = 0.3769. The findings from the research are 1) parents who have young children in Isola village get the good parenting, which means in the application parents always willing to take the time, paying attention to the children’s welfare, always giving positive responses, demanding on positive things, always giving the limit, intervention, and using the power wisely 2) young children’s social emotional development in Isola village is in the class of beginning to grow 3) the impact of parenting toward young children’s social emotional development impact positively and appreciably, this is showed by the impact value in determination testing of 37.69%. Parenting parents has impact toward young children’s social emotional development, however there are another factors impact on that, those are environmental factors and from the children themselves. It is recommended for parents to be more understand on parenting, and for early childhood education’s tutor to be more pay attention to their students, while for researcher later to examine factors which impact on young children’s social emotional development besides parenting parents which the focus on this research.
