Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Cerita Nyi Murtasiya dalam Seni Macapat di Kabupaten Cirebon: Kajian Struktur, Konteks, Koteks, Fungsi, dan Nilai Moral serta Pemanfaatannya sebagai Bahan Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di SMA”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan struktur, koteks, konteks, fungsi, dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam cerita rakyat di Kabupaten Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini, yakni cerita Nyi Murtasiya dalam seni macapat yang ada di Desa Suranenggala, Kabupaten Cirebon. Data diperoleh dari hasil rekaman dan wawancara langsung terhadap pelaku seni macapat Nyi Murtasiya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, penelitian ini menemukan struktur pembangun cerita Nyi Murtasiya dilihat dari aspek alur, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, serta tema. Berdasarkan isi dan bentuknya, teks Nyi Murtasiya merupakan teks naratif yang berbentuk puisi dan disajikan dengan cara ditembangkan. Koteks yang mengiringi cerita Nyi Murtasiya terdiri tiga unsur, yaitu paralinguistik, kinetik, proksemik, dan material. Konteks yang melatari cerita Nyi Murtasiya meliputi konteks situasi, budaya, sosial, dan ideologi. Berdasarkan analisis konteks, dapat disimpulkan bahwa cerita Nyi Murtasiya berkembang pada masa pemerintahan Sunan Gunung Jati di wilayah Cirebon. Ceritanya digunakan sebagai sarana penyebaran agama Islam yang tidak menghilangkan unsur tradisi dan budaya setempat. Pelaku, penikmat, dan pengelola kesenian macapat Nyi Murtasiya tidak dibatasi dengan usia, profesi, domisili, strata sosial, jenis kelamin, kelompok, atau ras tertentu. Isi cerita Nyi Murtasiya mengandung nilai moral individual, sosial, dan religi. Berdasarkan analisis fungsi, cerita Nyi Murtasiya memiliki fungsi estetis, pragmatis, etis, dan historis. Hasil temuan dan analisis yang telah dilakukan dimanfaatkan oleh peneliti sebagai bahan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMA. ;---This study entitled "Stories in Art Macapat Nyi Murtasiya in Cirebon: Structure Study, Cotexts, Context, Function and Moral Values and Utilization as a substance in senior high school’s extracurricular activities". The purpose of this study was to describe the structure, contexts, cotexts, functions and moral values which contained in Cirebon’s folklore. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Sources of data in this study, that the story of Nyi Murtasiya in Art Macapat Suranenggala in the Regency of Cirebon. Data obtained from the recording and interview directly to actors Macapat Nyi Murtasiya Art. Based on the analysis and discussion, the study found Nyi Murtasiya’s story structure builder seen from the aspect of plot, character and characterization, setting, and theme. Based on the content and form, the text Nyi Murtasiya a narrative text in the form of poetry and presented in a way sung. Cotexts that accompany the story Nyi Murtasiya consists of three elements, namely paralinguistic, kinetic, proksemik, and material. The context of the underlying story of Nyi Murtasiya includes the situational context, cultural, social, and ideological. Based on the analysis of the context, it can be concluded that the story develops Nyi Murtasiya during the reign of Sunan Gunung Jati in the Cirebon. The story is used as a means of spreading of Islam that does not eliminate the element of tradition and local culture. Actors, connoisseurs and art manager macapat Nyi Murtasiya not limited by age, profession, residence, social class, gender, group, or race. Nyi Murtasiya’s story is containing individual moral values, social, and religious. Based on the analysis function, Nyi Murtasiya’s story has an aesthetic function, pragmatic, ethical, and historical. The findings and analysis conducted by researchers utilized as a substance in senior high school’s extracurricular activities.
