    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh nilai hasil belajar Penelitian Pendidikan berada pada kategori cukup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai cara belajar mahasiswa di kampus dan cara belajar mahasiswa di rumah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 43 orang, sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh sebanyak 43 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Boga angkatan 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa cara belajar mahasiswa di kampus berkaitan dengan memperhatikan penjelasan dosen, menghubungkan pelajaran yang sedang diterima dengan bahan yang sudah dikuasai, mencatat hal – hal yang dianggap penting, bertanya mengenai hal – hal yang belum jelas, pergunakan waktu istirahat sebaik – baiknya, membuat kelompok belajar dan memanfaatkan perpustakaan kampus berada pada kategori jarang. Cara belajar mahasiswa di rumah berkaitan dengan mempunyai tempat, fasilitas dan perabot belajar, mengatur jadwal belajar, mengulang bahan pelajaran, menghafal bahan pelajaran membaca buku dan membuat ringkasan berada pada kategori jarang. Saran ditujukan kepada mahasiswa harus meningkatkan cara belajar di kampus maupun di rumah, sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang optimal pada Mata Kuliah Penelitian Pendidikan.

    The background of this study is the grade of learning outcome on Educational Research that is in average category. The purpose of this study is to obtain the information regarding the students’ learning style in campus and their learning style in house. Research design employed in this study is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study is 43 persons while the sample used in this study is saturation sample with 43 students of Culinary Art Education Study Program from batch 2013. The result of this study shows that students’ learning styles in campus that deal with paying attention to the lecturers’ explanation, referring the lesson that is being received to the source that has been mastered, noting all things considered important, questioning about unclear things, spending the rest time well, creating study group, and utilizing campus library, are in rare category. Meanwhile, students’ learning styles in house that relate to having place, facility, and furnishings for studying, managing the schedule for studying, relearning and memorizing lesson material, reading books and making summary, are in rare category. The suggestion objected to the students is they have to increase their learning styles either in campus or in house, so that they can obtain optimal outcome in the subject of Educational Research.
