Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris efektivitas layanan bimbingan karir untuk peningkatan kematangan karir siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain nonequivalent pre-test and post test control group quasi experiment dengan teknik nonrandom sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan inventori, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengembangkan hipotesis layanan bimbingan karir untuk peningkatan kematangan karir siswa divalidasi dengan desain pre-posttest quasi experimental. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh thitung 22,598 > t Grafik 2,064 dengan signifikansi 0,000< 0,05, ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen setelah diberi perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan karir efektif untuk peningkatan kematangan karir siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Tasikmalaya Tahun Pelajaran 2014/ 2015. Kefektifan bimbingan di dukung aspek sikap dan kompetensi. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada konselor sekolah untuk lebih memperhatikan usaha pemberian bimbingan karir dalam peningkatan kematangan karir siwa.;---The present study is aimed to test the effectiveness of career guidance treatement to increase students career maturity. This study uses a quantitative approach to nonequivalent pre-test and post test control group quasi experiment design with nonrandom sampling technique. Data were collected using inventory, interviews and documentation study. The study began by developing hypotheses career guidance services to increase students' career maturity validated with pre-posttest design quasi-experimental. Based on t-test results in the experimental class available thitung 22,598 > t Grafik 2,064 with significance 0.000 <0.05, This shows that there are significant differences between the value pretest and posttest experimental class after being treated. The results showed that career guidance treatement is effective for improvement career maturity to the Grade XI Students of SMAN 1 Tasikmalaya, Academic Year 2014/2015. The effectiveness of the guidance is supported aspects of the attitude and competence It is recommended that the teacher-counselors should pay more attention to the efforts of providing career guidance in improving students' career maturity.
