Abstract
Skripsi dengan judul “Interaksi Sosial Siswa Tunarungu Jenjang Sekolah Dasar di Sekolah Inklusif” merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan pada siswa tunarungu kelas tiga di SD Swasta Dewi Sartika Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi sosial siswa tunarungu jenjang sekolah dasar di sekolah inklusif antara lain: (1) proses interaksi sosial; (2) bentuk interaksi sosial; (3) hambatan yang terjadi; dan (4) upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasinya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses interaksi sosial siswa tunarungu jenjang sekolah dasar di sekolah inklusif cukup baik, siswa dapat bertindak sebagai pihak yang memberikan aksi dan pihak yang memberikan reaksi. Bentuk interaksi sosial yang berkembang pada siswa tunarungu diantaranya adalah menggoda, kerjasama, agresi, berselisih/bertengkar, persaingan, simpati, pembangkangan, tingkah laku berkuasa, dan mementingkan diri sendiri. Hambatan yang terjadi pada siswa tunarungu yaitu hambatan internal dalam berkomunikasi, berupa kesulitan dalam mengungkapkan keinginan pada lawan bicara, dan kesulitan dalam memahami apa yang diungkapkan lawan bicara. Untuk mengatasinya upaya yang dilakukan siswa tunarungu itu sendiri yaitu berkomunikasi menggunakan isyarat dan media lainnya seperti ujaran, gerakan tubuh, tulisan dan gambar. Upaya yang dilakukan guru adalah melakukan kegiatan membaca, mengajar dengan menggunakan ujaran yang jelas dan disertai isyarat atau gerakan tubuh. Sedangkan upaya yang dilakukan teman sebaya adalah belajar bahasa isyarat, membantu mengucapkan kata-kata dengan benar, dan membantu siswa tunarungu untuk menerjemahkan bahasa. ; “The Social Interaction of Students with Hearing Impairment in Inclusive Elementary School” is a qualitative research of student with hearing impairment in third grade Dewi Sartika elementary school Bandung. The research aimed to determine social interaction of student with hearing impairment in inclusive elementary school, among others: (1) process of social interaction; (2) forms of social interaction; (3) barriers that occur; and (4) the efforts made to cope with it. Data were obtained through observation and interviews. Research findings indicate that the process of social interaction of students with hearing impairment in the primary school level at inclusive schools is quite good, students can act as a party to provide action and parties react. Forms of social interaction that develops in the students with hearing impairment include teasing, cooperation, aggression, quarrelling, rivalry, sympathy, negativism, ascendant behavior, and selfishness. Barriers that occur in deaf students that internal barriers in communication, such as difficulty in expressing a desire on the speaker, and the difficulty in understanding what the other person is disclosed. To fix the efforts made by students with hearing impairment is to communicate using signs and other media such as speech, gestures, writing and picture. Efforts made by the teacher is doing the reading, teach using clear speech and accompanied by gestures. Teacher could do the reading, teaching with clear speech and accompanied by gestures. While the efforts of their peers (students hear) is learning sign language, help pronounce the words correctly, and to help students with hearing impairment to translate the language.
