Abstract
Banyak metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menghilangkan atau mengurangi miskonsepsi siswa, salah satunya penggunaan Conceptual Change Text (CCT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Conceptual Change Text (CCT) pada materi ikatan ion, memvalidasinya dan mengujicoba pengaruhnya terhadap konsepsi siswa secara terbatas. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengembangan dan validasi. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 27 orang siswa SMA kelas XI IPA di salah satu SMA di Bandung. Pada tahap pengembangan,CCT dikembangkan berdasarkan indikator pembelajaran dan miskonsepsi siswa pada materi ikatan ion. CCT divalidasi oleh delapan orang ahli dan diolah dengan menggunakan CVR. Hasil validasi CCT mengenai kesesuaian CCT dengan indikator dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata–rata CVR sebesar 0,825. Kemudian ditinjau dari aspek grafika dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata–rata CVR 0,828; serta ditinjau dari aspek kesesuaian isi teks dengan karakteristik CCT dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata–rata CVR 0,9375. Data hasil pre-test dan post-test diolah menggunakan perhitungan N-Gain. Berdasarkan data pre-test dan post-test, diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,489 dengan kriteria sedang. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa CCT dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Selain itu, CCT dapat mengubah konsepsi siswa menjadi lebih baik sebesar 25,2 persen. --- Many methods can be used to eliminate or reduce the student’s misconceptions, one of them the use of Conceptual Change Text (CCT). This research aims to develop a Conceptual Change Text (CCT) on the topic of ionic bonding, validate and test the its influence on student's conceptions on a limited basis. The method used is the development and validation. The limited test conducted on 27 high school students grade XI in one high school in Bandung. At the development stage, the CCT was developed based on indicators of learning and student’s misconceptions on the topic of ionic bond. CCT validated by eight experts and processed by using CVR. The validation results of suitability CCT with indicators declared valid by the average value of CVR 0.825. Then, from the aspect of graphics is declared valid by the average value of CVR 0.828; as well as the review of aspects of the suitability of the contents of the text with the characteristics of CCT declared valid by the average value of CVR 0.9375. Pre-test and post-test are processed using N-Gain calculation. Based on data from the pre-test and post-test, the value of N-Gain is 0.489 with the criteria of medium. It shows that the CCT can enhance students' understanding of the concept. In addition, the CCT can change students' conceptions for the better by 25.2 percent.
