Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan praktik industri mahasiswa pendidikan kejuruan dengan tempat penelitian adalah Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Elektro FPTK UPI. Penelitian ini dirasa perlu dilakukan untuk memberikan masukan dan saran bagaimana program praktik industri yang baik berdasarkan penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Responden yang terlibat adalah 160 mahasiswa/alumni yang sudah melaksanakan praktik industri dari angkatan 2000-2013. Hanya 4 variabel eksternal yang diteliti yaitu prosedur pelaksanaan praktik industri, peran pembimbing dari industri, peran dosen pembimbing dan jobdesk mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prosedur pelaksanaan praktik industri dan peran dosen pembimbing kurang baik serta peran pembimbing lapangan dan jobdesk mahasiswa selama praktik industri sudah baik.;---The research was done to evaluate the performance of student’s internship program in higher vocational education especially in Department of Electrical Engineering Education FPTK UPI. This kind of research is needed to give the good suggestions about how to perform good internship program based on the research before. The respondents is 160 students (graduated or undergraduate) who have done the internship program from 2000-2013. There are only 4 external variables that have been studied,, they are procedure of internship program performance, the role of workplace supervisor, the role of lecturer supervisor and student’s job desk. The research methodology that used in this research is quantitative method. The findings of this research shows that procedure of internship program performance and the role of lecturer supervisor aren’t good enough. Then the role of workplace supervisor and student’s job desk on internship are good.
