Abstract

Kegiatan mengemukakan pendapat bukan hanya dapat dilakukan secara lisan tetapi juga melalui kegiatan menulis yang kemudian disebut menulis opini. Peneliti memilih penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran proyek blog story yang menjadi variabel bebas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas proyek blog story terhadap kreativitas menulis opini pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol serta mengetahui perbedaan hasil penelitian dari kedua kelas tersebut. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu dua kelas pada kelas VII sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji hipotesis dengan Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pembelajaran IPS dengan menerapkan proyek blog story di kelas eksperimen efektif terhadap kreativitas menulis opini.; (2) pembelajaran IPS di kelas kontrol yang tidak menerapkan proyek blog story tidak seefektif di kelas eksperimen; (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil penelitian di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Perbedaan tersebut diketahui dari adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai rata – rata pre-test dan post-test kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan proyek blog story. Kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional peningkatan yang terjadi tidak begitu signifikan. Tingkat kreativitas yang didapatkan dari hasil penghitungan diketahui bahwa kelas eksperimen mendapatkan hasil yang lebih tinggi di semua indikator penilaian dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. ; Giving an expression activity can not only be done verbally but also by writing activity which then known as the writing opinion. The writer decided to use quasi-experimental research with the blog story projects as a learning model that became independent variables. The objective of the study is to find out the effectiveness of blog story implementation projects towards the experiment class and the control class and to find out the differences of research final result between these two classes. The research sample taken by purposive sampling technique, those two classes are the seventh grade as the experimental class and control class. The analysis techniques used is normality test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and hypothesis testing by t-test. The results showed that (1) the social studies education by using a blog story project implementation in experimental class is effective for writing opinion creativity; (2) the social studies education in control class which does not implement the blog story project is not as effective as in the experimental class; (3) there is a significance differences between the final results in the experimental class and control class. The differences is known from the existence of a significant increase in the average value of pre-test and post-test experimental class which implements the blog story project. While in the control class which implements the conventional learning: the improvement that occurred is not significant. The creativity level that is obtained from the questionnaire calculation results also showed that the experimental class is get the higher results at all assessment indicators compared to the control class.
