Abstract

Permasalahan sampah menyebabkan menurunnya kepedulian kita terhadap lingkungan hal ini perlu menjadi bahan renungan semua pihak. Bukan saja menjadi tanggung jawab pemerintah dan kementrian lingkungan hidup, tetapi menjadi tanggung jawab masyarakat termasuk kalangan para pendidik, dan peserta didik. Perilaku masyarakat yang kurang peduli lingkungan membuktikan bahwa masih kurangnya sebuah pemahaman terhadap ecoliteracy dalam diri masyarakat. Ecoliteracy merupakan sebuah pradigma baru yang dipopulerkan oleh Fritjof Capra dalam dunia pendidikan, bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis masyarakat dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, program Adiwiyata merupakan salah satu cara untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan lingkungan melalui pembinaan karakter peduli lingkungan terhadap siswa dan seluruh warga sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 48 Bandung, sedangkan yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah ketua Adiwiyata, wakasek kurikulum, guru IPS, dan siswa SMP Negeri 48 Bandung. Hasil Penelitian yang penulis peroleh yaitu: Pertama, perencanaan dilakukan dengan pembentukan tim yang melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan memperhatikan karakteristik, situasi dan kondisi yang terdapat di sekolah. Kedua, proses pembinaan melalui terintegrasi dengan seluruh mata pelajaran, melalui budaya sekolah saling megingatkan, ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan sekolah yang mendukung program Adiwiyata. Adapun kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di SMP Negeri48 Bandung yaitu lomba kebersihan kelas, bank sampah, pengolahan limbah sampah, GPS (Gerakan Pungut Sampah), Komunitas Prabu.Ketiga, hambatan yang muncul berasal dari tiga sumber yaitu siswa, guru dan pedagang sekolah. Keempat, hasil tingkat kesadaran sikap siswa dan guru mengalami peningkatanakan tetapi tidak signifikan. --- Waste problem caused a decline in our concern for the environment, it needs to be the muse of all parties. Is not only the responsibility of the government and the ministry of the environment, but is the responsibility of society, including among educators and learners. The behavior of people who are less concerned about the environment proves that there is still a lack an understanding of ecoliteracy within the community. Ecoliteracy is new paradigm popularized by Fritjof Capra in education, aims to raise awareness of ecological communities is sustainable development. Therefore Adiwiyata program is one way to solve environmental problems through character building environmental awareness to students and the entire school community. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Research conducted at SMPN 48 Bandung. While the subject of the research is Adiwiyata chairman, vice principal of curriculum, IPS teachers and students of SMPN 48 Bandung. The research that the writer obtained that: First, the planning is done by forming a team involving the whole school community. Planning is done by taking into account the characteristicts of the situation and the condition in the school. Second, through the coacing process integrated with all subjects, remaid each other through school culture, extracurricular and school activities that support Adiwiyata. As for the activities of the existing activities in SMPN 48 Bandung namely class race hygene, rubbish bank, processing the waste bin, GPS (Gerakan Pungut Sampah), Prabu community. Third, the obstacles that appear to originate from three sources, that is students, teachers, and school traders. Fourth, the results of the attitude of the level of awareness of students and teachers has increased but not significantly.
