Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan worksheet dan problemsheet berorientasi keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan multimodus representasi pada materi alat optik untuk pembelajaran Fisika kelas X SMA/MA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu: 1) Research and information collecting, yang terdiri dari kegiatan studi lapangan dan kajian literatur; 2) Planning; 3) Develop preliminary form of product dengan menggunakan metode Representational Approach Learning to Write; 4) Preliminary field testing yang melibatkan 70 siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri di Kabupaten Cirebon; dan 5)Main product revision. Aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada kerangka kerja Robert H Ennis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten worksheet dan problemsheet sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum Fisika SMA/MA dan tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai. Berdasarkan uji keterbacaan dan uji kualitas, worksheet dan problemsheet yang dikembangkan dinyatakan baik/ layak. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil ujicoba diketahui bahwa worksheet dan problemsheet yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,43 termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan effect size, diketahui bahwa keefektifan penggunaan worksheet dan problemsheet dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis bernilai 0,84 dengan kategori sangat efektif. Persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan worksheet dan problemsheet dalam pembelajaran Fisika positif. Siswa sepakat bahwa kegiatan dalam worksheet dan problemsheet yang digunakan dapat melatihkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang mereka miliki.;--- This research aims to develop critical thinking skill oriented worksheet and problemsheet using multimodus representation on topic optical device for physics learning in grade X of highschool/Madrasah Aliyah. The research method used in this study is Borg and Gall’s Research and Development (R&D). Stages of research conducted are; 1) Research and information collecting, which consists field study activity and literature study; 2) Planning; 3) Develop preliminary form of product using Representational Approach Learning to Write method; 4) Preliminary field testing which involved 70 grade X students of a public Madrasah Aliyah in Kabupaten Cirebon; dan 5)Main product revision. Aspects of critical thinking skills that are used in this study refers to Robert H Ennis’s framework. The results shows that the worksheet and problemsheet contents are fit to highschool/Madrasah Aliyah physics curriculum demands and to research objectives. Based on the legibility test and quality test, worksheet and problemsheet that developed are categorized as good or feasible. In addition, based on the trial results worksheet and problemsheet that developed can improve students' critical thinking skills with N-gain of 0.43 and categorized as moderate. Based on the calculation of the impact test, the effectiveness of the use of worksheets and problemsheet in improving critical thinking skill is 0.84 and categorized as verry effective. The students perceptions toward the use of worksheets and problemsheet in physics learning are positive. Students agreed that the activities on worksheets and problemsheet used can accomodate and improve their critical thinking skills.
