Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Permasalahan yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran seperti dalam merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya kompetensi guru. Fokus kajiannya diarahkan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Kompetensi guru merupakan faktor yang diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mengkaji dua variable yaitu kompetensi guru (variabel X) dan kinerja guru (variabel Y). Analisis mendalam dilakukan terhadap kedua variable tersebut dengan variable kontrol lulusan guru. Baik guru lulusan LPTK atau Non LPTK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kinerja guru dan kompetensi guru untuk guru lulusan LPTK dan Non LPTK, pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru, serta perbedaan kompetensi kinerja guru lulusan LPTK dan Non LPTK. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden merupakan guru SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung sebanyak 46 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi guru dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) Kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kinerja guru baik guru lulusan LPTK maupun Non LPTK; dan (3) terdapat perbedaan kompetensi guru dan kinerja guru lulusan LPTK dan Non LPTK.;---This research was conducted at SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. The problem analyzed in this research was the lack of teachers’ performances in conducting educational routines such as planning, evaluating, or even conducting the lesson itself, which was caused by the lack of their competence as a teacher. The analysis was focused on the factors that affect teacher’s performance. Thus, this research studied two variables, which are the teacher’s competence (variable X) and the teacher’s performance (variable Y). A deep analysis was conducted upon those two variables, with teacher’s graduate school as the control variable. Whether it is a LPTK (Teaching education institute) or non-LPTK. The aims of this research were to analyze the degree of teacher’s competence and performance from both LPTK’s graduate or non-LPTK’s graduate, the effect of teacher’s competence on their performance, and the difference between LPTK’s graduate and non-LPTK’s graduate performance as teacher. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data collection was conducted with the use of questioner. The respondents were 46 teachers at SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. The data analysis method used in this research was simple regression. The result showed that: (1) Teachers’ competence and performance were at high rate; (2) Teachers’ competence affected their performance rate positively, this occurred on both LPTK’s graduate and non-LPTK’s graduate teachers; and (3) there were difference on competence and performance rate between LPTK’s graduate and non-LPTK’s graduate teachers.
