Abstract
Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah kinerja guru mata pelajaran ekonomi di Kota Bandung yang masih belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui gambaran umum lingkungan sosial, motivasi, kompetensi guru dan kinerja guru; (2) mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap kinerja guru; (3) mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru, dan (4) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru. Teknik sampling dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dengan rumus dari Taro Yamane. Sampel penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri se-Kota Bandung sebanyak 82 guru. Metode penelitian adalah survey eksplanatori dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda (multiple linear regression method). Lingkungan sosial, kompetensi guru dan kinerja guru berada pada kategori sangat baik dan motivasi kerja berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan sosial tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, sedangkan motivasi kerja dan kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru.. ---; The main problem in this research is economic teacher’s performance in Bandung City is optimized yet. The purpose of this research is: (1) to find general description about social environment, work motivation, teacher’s competency and teacher’s performance; (2) to find the effect of social environment towards teacher’s performance; (3) to find the effect of work motivation towards teacher’s performance; (4) to find the effect of teacher’s competency towards teacher’s performance. Sampling technique in this research is using Taro Yamane’s equation. Sample in this research is economic teacher in Senior High School at Bandung City consist of 82 teachers. Method research is explanatory survey by using questionnaires to collect the data. Data analyze technique in this research is using multiple linear regression method. social environment, teacher’s competency and teacher’s performance are in good category and work motivation is in high category. The result in this research is social environment not contribute to teacher’s performance, then work motivation and teacher’s competency contribute to teacher’s performance.
