Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan siswa yang masih rendah dalam menulis cerpen. Siswa beranggapan menulis cerpen merupakan hal yang rumit dan sulit. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa berupa kesulitan dalam mendapatkan ide, sukar dalam mengembangkan tokoh dan alur cerita, serta pemahaman tentang menulis cerpen yang masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, supaya siswa mampu mengembangkan potensinya dalam menulis cerpen, diperlukan suatu inovasi pembelajaran yang menarik dan beragam. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang bisa diterapkan adalah teknik silang cerita (paired storytelling) yang dikembangkan berdasarkan model pembelajaran kooperatif (cooperatif learning). Peneliti kemudian mencoba mengorelasikan teknik tersebut dengan kisah-kisah yang memiliki muatan nilai-nilai Qurani. Sehingga muatan kebaikan dan keluhuran yang terdapat di dalamnya dapat terimplementasikan ketika siswa membuat cerpen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan menggunakan kelas eksperimen sebagai sumber data. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga rumusan masalah, yaitu (1) Bagaimana kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen sebelum diberikan perlakuan? (2) Bagaimana kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen setelah diberikan perlakuan? (3) Apakah terdapat perbedaaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan sesudah diberi perlakuan? (4) Apakah teknik Silang Cerita Kisah Qurani efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas ? Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menulis cerpen dengan menggunakan Teknik Silang Cerita Kisah Qurani dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata nilai yang pada awalnya 64,6 (pretest) menjadi 78,3 pada tes akhir (posttest). Sealian itu, dari pengujian uji t’ melalui program aplikasi SPSS versi 17 diketahui bahwa signifikansi yang dihasilkan adalah 0,00, < 0,05 dan Ho ditolak. Artinya 0,000 < (lebih kecil dari 0,05) sehingga terdapat perubahan yang signifikan sebelum mendapatkan perlakuan dan sesudah mendapatkan perlakuan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Teknik Silang Cerita Kisah Qurani efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen.;---The research was distributed by the ability of the students who are still low in writing short stories. Students think writing a short story is complicated and difficult. The difficulties experienced by students in the form of difficulty in getting ideas, difficult in developing the characters and storyline, as well as an understanding of writing a short story is still low. Therefore, so that students are able to develop its potential in writing short stories, required an innovation learning interesting and diverse. One of the methods of learning that can be applied is the technique of crossword story (paired storytelling) developed based on cooperative learning model (cooperatif learning). The researchers then tried the technique with correlation stories that have the charge values Qurani. So the charge of goodness and notability contained therein can be implemented when students create a short story. This research was quasi experimental research using experimental classes as a data source. This research has three problem formulation, namely (1) How the ability of students in writing a memoir before it was given preferential treatment? (2) How the ability of students in writing short stories after being given preferential treatment? (3) Whether there is a significant distinction between the ability of students in writing short stories before and after the treatment given is given preferential treatment? (4) Whether cross-Qurani Story Story techniques effectively applied in learning to write short stories in the classroom? Based on the results obtained, shows that learning to write short stories by using the technique of cross-Qurani Story Stories can increase the value of the average value initially 64.6 (pretest) becomes the ultimate test on 78.3 (posttest). Sealian, from testing t-test ' through the program SPSS version 17 note that the resulting significance is 0.00, 0.05 and Ho < declined. It means 0.000 < (smaller than 0.05) so that there is a significant change before treatment and after treatment. Based on the foregoing, it can be concluded that the application of the technique of cross-Qurani Story effective in improving students ' ability in writing short stories.
