Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari temuan peneliti di kelas VIII-C SMP Negeri 3 Lembang dimana karakter dan nilai moral dasar siswa belum nampak, siswa kurang mampu untuk menghormati diri sendiri, orang lain dan sekitarnya serta kurang mampu untuk bertanggung jawab terhadap kewajibannya. Terlihat siswa mengucapkan kata-kata yang tidak semestinya diucapkan kepada temannya. Melihat permasalahan yang akan diteliti berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran, maka peneliti memilih penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan Taggart dalam 2 siklus. Pengggunaan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe analisis nilai dipilih untuk meningkatkan nilai moral dasar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS, ini dikarenakan melalui model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe analisis nilai siswa dituntun untuk memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai yang berlaku dalam masyarakat, mengembangkan keterampilan dan sikap yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, mengkaji perasaan dan perbuatannya sendiri serta meningkatkan kesadaran mereka tentang nilai-nilai moral dasar sebagai seorang pelajar. Dalam peningkatan nilai moral dasar siswa, peneliti memilih 2 indikator nilai moral dasar siswa. Setelah siswa menerapkan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe analisis nilai, nilai moral dasar siswa semakin nampak dan terus meningkat setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus pertama, nilai moral dasar siswa dapat dikategorikan cukup dengan persentase sebesar 69,2%. Setelah melakukan refleksi dan adanya perbaikan untuk perencanaan yang lebih matang, maka pada siklus kedua penelitian ini mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dan dikategorikan baik dengan persentase sebesar 94,8%. Dari penelitian tersebut, diperoleh hasil bahwa: 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran peningkatan nilai moral dasar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe analisis nilai dapat berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah disusun; 2) Pelaksanaan peningkatan nilai moral dasar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe analisis nilai dapat dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus dengan siklus pertama sebanyak 4 tindakan dan siklus kedua sebanyak 3 tindakan; 3) Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) tipe analisis nilai dapat meningkatkan nilai moral dasar siswa di kelas VIII-C SMP Negeri 3 Lembang. ;--- This research started based on the founding of the researcher in class VIII-C SMP Negeri 3 Lembang where the student character and moral value doesn’t appear. Student can’t respect themselves, other people and their surrounding and student can’t respect their responsibilities. As it seems student say some word that they supposed to not said to their friend. Looking at the problem which is having a connection with the study process, researcher choose Research on Class Action (PTK) Kemmis and Taggart model in 2 cycle. Using Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model analysis value type to increase student moral value in learning IPS because through this learning model, student directed to understand and use moral value in society, developing a good skill and behavior in their everyday life, reviewing their emotion and action and increase their awareness in moral value as a student. In increasing student moral value, researcher choose 2 moral value indicator based on the student. After the student can apply value clarification technique (VCT) learning model analysis value type, student base moral value more appear and keep increasing in each cycle. At first cycle, student moral value can be categorized significant enough with percentage about 69,2%. After doing reflection and the plan correction to make the plan more mature in cycle two of this research, it increase significantly and can be categorized as good with percentage about 94,8%. From this research, can be concluded that : 1) increasing moral student learning plan through Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model analysis value type can run well based on the listed purpose; 2) the implementation of increasing student moral through Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model analysis value type can be done with 2 cycle, the first cycle with 4 action and second cycle with 3 action ; 3) the result on the class action through implementing Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model analysis value type research, can increase student moral value in class VIII_C SMP Negeri 3 Lembang.
