Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi kepribadian terhadap gaya berpikir pada usia produktif. Partisipan penelitian adalah subjek yang berusia 25 – 44 tahun yang bekerja di wilayah Bandung dan sekitarnya dengan jumlah 301 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan regresi. Alat ukur penelitian yang digunakan berupa 1) Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) untuk variabel kepribadian dengan reliabilitas dilihat dari nilai Crobarch’s Alpha E=0,737; I=0,737; S=0710; N=0,710; T=0,788; F=0,788; J=0,784; dan P=0,734; 2) Gregorc Delineator Style (GDS) untuk variabel gaya berpikir dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha CS=0,790; AS=0,754; AR=0,716; dan CR=0,783. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan mixed design anova ditemukan bahwa kepribadian berkontribusi signifikan terhadap gaya berpikir pada usia produktif dengan nilai sig. 0,002. Peneliti merekomdenasikan untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar memilih alat ukur dengan jumlah item lebih sedikit demi efektifitas pengambilan data pada responden dan memilih lokasi penelitian yang lebih spesifik agar dapat menggambarkan lokasi tersebut.;-- The research aims to know whether there is or no contribustion of personality to thinking style on subjects of productive age. This research uses quantitative approach with regretion method. Total of subjects are 301 individuals in the age range of 25-44 years old. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is used as instrument for personality and Gregorc Delineator Style (GDS) for thinking style type. Cronbach’s Alpha value for 1) MBTI, E=0,737; I=0,737; S=0710; N=0,710; T=0,788; F=0,788; J=0,784; and P=0,734; 2) GDS, CS=0,790; AS=0,693; AR=0,716; and CR=0,783. Mixed design anova was used to hypothesis test. Result of this research shows that personality has contribution to thinking style on subjects of productive age with sig. value is 0,002. Researcher recommend to the next researcher to choose instrument which less items for effectiveness in collecting data and to select more specific location for research sample.
