Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai profil keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa SMA melalui pembelajaran berbasis guided inquiry pada konsep termoregulasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis capaian KPS siswa melalui pembelajaran guided inquiry. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Pre-eksperimental dengan desain One shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI di salah satu sekolah di Bandung. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 32 orang siswa kelas XI MIPA. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara purposive. Keterampilan proses yang diukur dalam penelitian ini meliputi keterampilan berkomunikasi, keterampilan interpretasi, mengajukan hipotesis, memprediksi, menerapkan konsep, merencanakan percobaan, menggunakan alat dan bahan serta mengajukan pertanyaan. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi dan soal tes uraian. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dipersentasekan dan dibuat kategorisasi. Lembar observasi keterlaksanaan sintaks pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa digunakan sebagai data pendukung untuk menunjang data utama. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan, keterampilan proses sains siswa secara umum terbagi kedalam empat kategori. Keterampilan prediksi dan menggunakan alat bahan berada pada kriteria sangat baik, keterampilan mengkomunikasikan, interpretasi, mengajukan hipotesis, merencanakan percobaan berada pada kategori baik. Keterampilan menerapkan konsep berada pada kriteria kurang dan keterampilan mengajukan pertanyaan merupakan satu-satunya keterampilan yang termasuk kategori sangat kurang.;--- This study has been conducted about profile science process skills (KPS) of students through guided inquiry learning on the concept of termoregulation. This study aims to analyze the achievement of KPS students through guided inquiry learning. This study is a pre-experimental study used One Shot Case Study. The population in this study students in grade XI at school in Bandung. The study sample consisted of 32 students of class XI IPA. The samples were selected by purposive sampling. Process skills in this study are measured by communication skills, interpretation skills, hypothesize, predicting, applying the concept, planning experiments, using the tools and materials, and ask a questions. Instruments used consist of observation sheets and description of test questions. The data obtained then were presented and made categorization. The learning syntax implemented observation sheets and student questionnaire responses are used as supporting data to support the main data. Based on the results of the data analysis process skills are generally divided into four categories. Prediction skills and using a tools and materials are in very good criteria, communicating skills, interpretation, hypothesize, planning experiments that are in a good category. Skills to apply a concept is at less category and skills of asking a questions are the only skill that included in a very less category.
