Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pemanfaatan lagu–lagu populer dalam pembelajaran di TK Negeri Pembina Centeh Bandung karena belum ada yang secara khusus mengkaji manfaat lagu populer di taman kanak-kanak. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Data penelitian diperoleh dari pengamatan dan wawancara mendalam terhadap sepuluh partisipan, serta studi dokumentasi, selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Mengacu pada rumusan masalah, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) tujuan pemanfaatan lagu-lagu dalam pembelajaran sebagai pemberi semangat anak belajar, tanda atau aba-aba di awal kegiatan belajar, penambahan kosakata, 2) lagu-lagu populer yang digunakan sesuai kegiatan pembelajaran yang berlaku di sekolah, 3) cara memilih lagu populer dalam pembelajaran yaitu sesuai dengan tema, kemampuan anak, irama ceria untuk anak, 4) cara menggunakan lagu populer tergantung teknik guru ketika mengajarkan anak lagu, 5) kapan menggunakan lagu populer dibagi menjadi lima kegiatan yaitu pembuka, inti, istirahat, penutup, awal kegiatan 6) pesan lagu populer yang dipilih mengenal lagu, anak senang, memahami isi lagu, mengerti aturan. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi bagi peneliti lainnya untuk mengkhususkan pembelajarannya di tingkat Playgroup atau Sekolah Luar Biasa dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yang berbeda.;---This study aims to reveal the use of popular songs in learning in TK Negeri Pembina Centeh Bandung because no one has specifically evaluated the value of popular songs in kindergarten. This study methods used a qualitative approach with case study research design. Data were obtained from observations and depth interviews with ten participants, as well as study the documentation, then the data were analyzed using thematic analysis technique. Referring to the formulation of the problem, the results showed that: 1) the objectives of the songs in the learning confidante children learn, mark or cue in early learning activities, increase vocabulary, 2) popular songs that are used as instructional activities apply at the school, and 3) how to choose a popular song in the learning that is appropriate to the theme, the child's ability, rhythm bubbly for children, 4) how to use popular songs depending on the techniques teachers when teaching children songs, 5) when using popular songs are divided into five activities, namely entrees, core, rest, cover, initial activities 6) message of popular songs that have familiar songs, happy child, understand the content of the song, understand the rules. This research can be used as recomendation for other researchers to specialize their learning at the playgroup or abilities school using different research methods.
