Abstract
Dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing kerap ditemukan fenomena dwibahasa yaitu penggunaan dua bahasa dalam percakapan. Dalam prakteknya, penggunaan dwibahasa tersebut menimbulkan alih kode dan campur kode, yaitu peralihan bahasa dari bahasa satu ke bahasa lainnya atau tercampurnya unsur bahasa dalam sebuah tuturan. Fenomena alih kode dan campur kode dapat ditemui secara natural di masyarakat dwibahasa. Hal tersebut juga ditemui di beberapa acara televisi, salah satunya adalah acara kuis Tirage du Loto. Penggunaan dwibahasa yang dilakukan pembawa acara kuis tersebut menarik perhatian peneliti untuk mengkaji hal tersebut ke dalam sebuah penelitian alih kode dan campur kode. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis alih kode dan campur kode yang muncul, serta fungsi dari alih kode dan campur kode tersebut yang terdapat dalam acara kuis Tirage du Loto. Untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami makna tuturan alih kode dan campur kode pada acara kuis tersebut, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yaitu penelitian empiris yang meneliti fenomena kotemporer dalam konteks kehidupan nyata dengan menggunakan beberapa sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat 68 tuturan yang mengandung fenomena alih kode dan campur kode. Jenis alih kode yang muncul adalah semua jenis alih kode yang dipaparkan dalam teori Hoffman (1991), yaitu tag switching, intersentential switching dan intrasentential switching, sedangkan jenis campur kode yang muncul adalah jenis insertation dan alternation (Muysken, 2000), serta fungsi bahasa (Jacobson, 1960) yang terkandung dalam tuturan alih kode dan campur kode yang muncul adalah fungsi referensial, fungsi emotif, fungsi fatik dan fungsi konatif. ;---In learning a foreign language, the bilingual phenomenon found in conversation. In practice, the use of bilingual raises the code switching and code-mixing, the language switching from one language into another language or mixing elements of language in a speech. The phenomenon of code switching and code-mixing can be found naturally in the bilingual community. It is also found in several television shows, one of them is a quiz show Tirage du Loto. The use of bilingual of quizmaster attracted the attention reseach to analyse into a study of code switching and code-mixing.The objective of the study is to discover code switching, mixed code and function of code switching and code mixing in program quiz Tirage du Loto. The descriptive qualitative was used in the study with the methode case studies. Based on studys, there was 68 utterances which contain the phenomenon of code switching and code-mixing. The types of code swiching appear were all type of code switching described in the theory of Hoffman (1991), they are tag switching, intersentential switching and intrasentential switching, while the types of mixed code (Muysken, 2000) that appears is the type of insertion and alternation, as well as the function of the language (Jacobson, 1960) contained in the speech of code swiching and mixed code that appears is the referential function, emotive function, the function of fatigue and conative functions.
