Abstract
Penelitian mengenai metode pembelajaran drill (latihan) dilatarbelakangi permasalahan hasil belajar siswa yang kurang memuaskan dan persentase KKM yang dinilai masih kurang pada kompetensi dasar perawatan dan perbaikan sistem starter yaitu 55,88%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai seberapa besar peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM setelah menggunakan metode drill (latihan). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Validitas instrumen penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan validitas isi. Hasil belajar siswa dinilai melalui tes tertulis dan praktik. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, penerapan metode pembelajaran drill (latihan) yang dilakukan pada kelas XI TKR 3 terjadi peningkatan pada hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya, yang diikuti dengan peningkatan persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan penerapan metode pembelajaran drill (latihan) pada kompetensi dasar perawatan dan perbaikan sistem starter dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat setiap siklusnya dan peningkatan persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM. ; Research on methods of learning drill (exercise) issues motivated student learning outcomes are unsatisfactory and the percentage of KKM is insufficient basic competence maintenance and repair of the starter system is 55.88%. The purpose of this study to obtain a clear picture of how much improving student learning outcomes and the percentage of students who achieve KKM after using drill (exercise). The method used is the method of classroom action research (PTK). The validity of research instruments done using content validity. Student learning outcomes are assessed through written and practical tests. Based on the research that has been carried out, the application of learning methods drill (exercise) conducted in class XI TKR 3 an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle, followed by an increase in the percentage of students who reached the KKM. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of learning methods using drill (exercise) to the basic competence of maintenance and repair ignition systems can improve student learning outcomes. It can be seen from the results of student learning increases each cycle and increase the percentage of students who reached the KKM.
