Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan deskripsi mengenai efektivitas pelaksanaan tugas profesional guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Artinya, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kegiatan wawancara, observasi atau pengamatan, dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah guru-guru di SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Bandung. Data dianalisis melalui proses reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi atau penyimpulan data dan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui uji kredibilitas, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Bandung memiliki 7,2% guru dengan latar belakang pendidikan berbeda dengan tugas mengajar, 9,6% guru yang mengajar lebih dari satu sekolah, dan 7,2% guru yang diberi tugas tambahan sebagai wakil kepala sekolah. Guru dengan latar belakang pendidikannya berbeda dengan tugas mengajar memiliki kendala yang mengharuskan guru tersebut lebih memahami materi yang akan dipelajari di dalam kelas. Guru yang mengajar lebih dari satu sekolah memiliki kendala dalam pembagian waktu tugas mengajarnya.Guru yang diberi tugas tambahan sebagai wakil kepala sekolah memiliki kendala dalam membagi waktu antara tugas mengajar dengan tugas sebagai wakil kepala sekolah. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap guru memiliki kendalanya sendiri terutama dalam memenuhi jam mengajarnya selama satu minggu seperti yang telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. ;---This research aims to provide a description of the effectiveness of the implementations of professional teachers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach is exemplary. That is, the technique of data collection activities conducted throught interviews, observation, and study the ddocumentations. The source of the data from the teachers of SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Bandung. Data were analyzed throught the process of reduction, the presentation of a false assertion or verification data and the validity of the data is done throught a test of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Based of the research conducted is obtained that the SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Bandung has 7,2% teachers of different educational background with the task of teaching, 9,2% teachers who teach more than one school, and 7,2% of teacher who were given additional duties as a vice principal. Teachers with different educational background with the task of teaching has a constraint that requires the teacher better understand the material to be learnes in the classroom. The tachers who teach more than one school have obstacles in teaching assignment time division. The teacher who was given the additional duties as vice principal has a constraint in the division of time between teaching assignment with duty as vice principal. Thus it can be concluded that every teacher has their own special barries are primarily in meeting hours to teach for one week as specified by the government.
