Abstract
Self-disclosure merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang dapat menunjang tercapainya kepuasan pernikahan. Ketika kepuasan pernikahan tidak tercapai maka hal tersebut akan memicu terjadinya perceraian dalam suatu hubungan pernikahan. Di kota Bandung sendiri sejumlah kasus perceraian disebabkan oleh ketidakpuasan dalam hubungan pernikahan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-disclosure dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada dewasa madya di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan teknik analisis Spearman’s Rho untuk mengetahui korelasi atau hubungan antar variabel. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan convenience sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 210 dewasa madya di Kota Bandung dengan usia pernikahan 20-40 tahun. Penelitian ini memperoleh korelasi sebesar 0,293 yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang rendah antara self-disclosure dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada dewasa madya di Kota Bandung dengan usia pernikahan 20-40 tahun. Dengan kata lain, terdapat faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pernikahan dewasa madya di Kota Bandung;--- Self-disclosure is one of the important aspects that can support to achieve of marital satisfaction. When marital satisfaction is not achieved then it will lead to divorce in a marriage relationship. In the city itself is a number of divorce cases are caused by dissatisfaction in the marriage relationship. Therefore, researcher interested in conducting this study. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-disclosure with marital satisfaction in middle age in the city of Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach correlation with Spearman's Rho analysis techniques to determine the correlation or the relationship between variables. The sampling technique in this research is using convenience sampling with a total of 210 respondents in Bandung middle adulthood with marriage age of 20-40 years. This study obtained a correlation of 0.293 which shows that there is a positive correlation between low self-disclosure with marital satisfaction in middle age in the city of Bandung with marriage age of 20-40 years. In other words, there are other factors that influence marital satisfaction middle age in the city of Bandung.
