    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berjudul “Kontribusi Peran Komite Madrasah terhadap Mutu Sarana dan Prasarana Pendidikan Pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta di Kabupaten Sumedang”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi peran komite madrasah terhadap mutu sarana dan prasarana pendidikan pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta di Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup yang disebar kepada 39 orang kepala madrasah sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Weight Mean Score, menunjukan bahwa peran komite madrasah pada kategori sangat baik dengan skor 3,15 dan mutu sarana dan prasarana pendidikan termasuk pada kategori baik dengan skor 2,90. Analisis korelasi menggunakan Pearson Product Moment, diperoleh koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y adalah sebesar 0,364 yaitu menunjukan bahwa korelasi kedua variable berada pada tingkat hubungan yang rendah. Sementara itu, hasil uji signifikasi dengan uji-t jika dibandingkan yaitu t_hitung(2,380) > t_tabel (2,026) artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Selanjutnya, hasil uji koefisien determinasi yaitu bahwa variabel X memberikan kontribusi terhadap variabel Y sebesar 13,2% dan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan Ŷ = 57,662 + 0,439 X. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menyatakan terdapat hubungan yang rendah dan signifikan antara peran komite madrasah terhadap mutu sarana dan prasarana pendidikan pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta di Kabupaten Sumedang. ;---This study entitled “The Role of School Commitee to the Quality of Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior High School) Educational Facility and Infrastructure in Sumedang Regent”. The aims of this study is to obtain the role of school commitee and their contributions to the quality of educational facility and infrastructure to private Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Sumedang Regent. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. While the data collection techniques used through the questionnaire enclosed with 39 Madrasah Tsanawiyah principals as the sample. Based on the results of data processing computed by using the Weight Means Scored showed that the role of school commitee of 3.15 and be in the very good category, and quality of educational facility and infrastructure of 2.90 and be in good category. Judging from the Pearson Product Moment calculation of the correlation coefficient of 0.364 which shows that there is a weak relationship between variables X and variable Y. While the calculation of significant test between ttest (2.380) > ttable (2.026) proved there is significant relationship between variabels X and variables Y. The results of the analysis of the determination coefficient of 13.2% shows the influence of variables X towards variables Y is at 13.2% and the rest of them are influenced by other factors. The regression equation Y ̅=57.662+0,439X. This study conclusion states there is a weak relationship and weak significant beetwen the role of school commitee to the quality of educational facility and infrastructure to private Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Sumedang Regent.
