Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca puisi siswa kelas III SDN di Kecamatan Sukajadi. Hal ini dikarenakan cara mengajar guru yang masih menggunakan metode klasikal yaitu metode ceramah.. Secara umum tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca puisi dengan menerapkan teknik pemodelan pada siswa kelas III di Sekolah Dasar. Adapun tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menerapkan teknik pemodelan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa sekolah dasar dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dirancang dalam dua siklus, dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Bandung dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 orang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model spiral dari Kemmis dan Taggart yang meliputi empat tahap penelitian yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Keterampilan membaca puisi siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya. Peningkatan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa dapat dilihat dari rata-rata siklus I hanya 58,54 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 8% dengan kualifikasi sangat kurang. Sementara pada siklus II perolehan nilai rata-rata meningkat 85,21 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 92% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata dan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik pemodelan pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. ; This research was motivated by the low skills of reading poetry third grade students in the district SDN Sukajadi. The general objective of this research aims to improve the skills of reading a poem by applying modeling techniques in class III Elementary School. The specific objectives of this study is to describe the process of the implementation of learning Indonesian by applying modeling techniques to improve the skills of elementary school students read poems and describe the increasing skills of elementary school students read poems. This study was designed in two cycles, with research subjects Elementary School third grade students in District Sukajadi Bandung with the number of students as many as 24 people. The design study is classroom action research (PTK) spiral model of Kemmis and Taggart which includes four stages of research including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Poetry reading skills of students has increased each cycle. Increasing students' skills of reading poetry can be seen from the average cycle I only 58.54 and classical learning completeness percentage of 8% with very less qualification. While on the second cycle of the acquisition value increased by an average 85.21 and classical learning completeness percentage of 92% with excellent qualifications. Based on the average value and the percentage of completeness classical study it can be concluded that the application of modeling techniques in Indonesian language learning can improve reading skills poetry elementary school third grade students.
