Abstract
Penyelenggaran pendidikan inklusif memerlukan pandangan dan pemahaman yang benar baik dari pemangku kebijakan, sekolah dan masyarakat. Melalui studi ini, peneliti ingin menggali data kongkrit tentang pandangan serta pemahaman sekolah terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusif di Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dengan strategi sequential explanatory. Data dijaring menggunakan angket pada tahap pertama dan pada tahap kedua menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sekolah penyelenggaran pendidikan inklusif sebanyak 30% disetiap kecamatan yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara konseptual sekolah telah memiliki pandangan yang benar terhadap pendidikan inklusif namun belum memahami terhadap konsep anak berkebutuhan khusus. Disisi lain, sekolah telah menunjukkan budaya inklusif tetapi belum ada kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung implementasi pendidikan inklusif dan belum terlaksananya praktik pembelajaran yang maksimal. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan inklusif adalah tantangan konseptual dan implementasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diperlukannya pelaksanaan program sosialisasi, pelatihan guru dan studi banding;--- Providing inclusive education requires a view and a really good understanding of policy makers, schools and communities. Through this study, the researcher wanted to explore concrete data about the view and understanding of the implementation of inclusive education schools in West Bangka Regency. This research uses a mix method with sequential explanatory strategy. The data are collected using the questionnaire in the first stage and the second stage using interviews and observation. The sample in this research are the delivery of inclusive education schools as much as 30% in each district were selected randomly. The results showed that conceptually the school has had a right to inclusive education, but do not understand the concept of children with special needs. On the other hand, schools have shown an inclusive culture but there is no school policy that supports the implementation of inclusive education and not the implementation of learning practices are maximized. Challenges faced in developing inclusive education is conceptual and implementation challenges. The implications of this research needs for the implementation of desimination programs, teacher training and study visits.
