Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh isu menurunnya perkembangan laba pada pengusaha industri mebel kursi. Adapun penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya diantaranya variabel modal dan diversifikasi produk.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha industri mebel di Cipacing Kabupaten Sumedang. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey explanatory dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Populasi sekaligus sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang pengusaha mebel kursi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa modal dan diversifikasi produk berpengaruh terhadap laba sebesar 81.69%. Modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba. Maka untuk meningkatkan laba para pengusaha harus meningkatkan modal yang dimiliki pengusaha untuk meningkatkan laba. Diversifikasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba. Pengusaha dituntut melakukan diversfifikasi produk yang tinggi agar mampu memberikan peningkatan laba yang diterima pengusaha.;---The background of the study is motivated by the decreasing of profit development of furniture industrialist. The study aims to discover the factors which influence financial capital variable and product diversification. The subject and the samples of the study is the furniture industrialists in Cipacing, Sumedang Regency, which consist of thirty funrtiture industrialists. Survey explanatory is the method that is used in this study. Then, questioner form was used in collecting the data. Multiple linear regression was chosen as the data analysis technique. The finding of the study shows that financial capital and produck diversification influence the profit as much as 81.69%. Financial capital and produck diversification has positive and significant influences to the profit. So, in order to increase the profit, the industrialist should increase the value of the financial capital too. Then, the furniture industrialists should do the high product diversification to able to give a profit improvement which can be accepted by the other industrialists.
