Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Siswa dalam Mengaransemen Lagu di SMPN 26 Bandung. Pembelajaran seni musik di SMPN 26 Bandung lebih singkat karena kebijakan sekolah.Untuk jenjang kelas VIII, mata pelajaran seni musik hanya dipelajari di semester genap. Selain itu, penggunaan model pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran musik masih berpusat pada guru dan belum bisa mewadahi keragaman kemampuan siswa. Maka solusi atas permasalahan di atas adalah dengan memperbaiki kondisi melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif dalam pembelajaran aransemen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian yakni siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 26 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, tes, angket dan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Berdasarkan temuan, penerapan prosedur pembelajaran kooperatif diawali dengan pembagian bahan ajar sesuai dengan jumlah anggota dalam kelompok. Selanjutnya siswa mengerjakan bagian tugas masing-masing lalu dilakukan diskusi untuk menyusun hasil aransemen yang utuh. Hasil dari penerapan tersebut menunjukan bahwa kemampuan aransemen siswa mengalami peningkatan pada ranah afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotor. Selain itu, melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bersosial siswa.;---The title of this study is “The Implementation of Cooperative Learning to Enhance Students’ Ability in Arranging Songs in SMPN 26 Bandung”. The learning of art of music in SMPN 26 Bandung became shorter because of the school policy. For the 8 grade classes, the subject of the art of music was only taught in the second semester. Besides that, the use of learning model in the music learning was still teacher-centered, and could not facilitate the diversity of students’ ability yet. Thus, the solution of the stated problems above is to improve the condition of learning through the implementation of cooperative learning in the arrangement teaching. The research method employed in this study was classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of grade 8 A SMPN 26 Bandung. The data collection techniques used were observation, test, questionnaire, interview and documentation. Based on the finding, the implementation o cooperative learning procedure was started by distributing learning material to every member of the team. Then, students did their own task, continued by discussing to arrange the complete result of the arrangement. The result of the study shows that the students’ arrangement ability was improved in term of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspect. Besides that, through the implementation of cooperative learning, students’ social ability was also improved.
