Abstract

Penelitian Ragam Aktivitas Belajar untuk Meningkatkan Konsentrasi Siswa Piano Grade Satu di Concordia Music School” Bandung, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh gejala kurangnya konsentrasi siswa piano grade satu usia 8-9 tahun dalam proses belajar piano. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa piano grade satu melalui ragam aktivitas listening, singging, dan playing. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, partisipan yang menjadi subjek yaitu dua siswa piano grade satu yang berusia 8-9 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, jurnal, dan studi dokumentasi. Ragam aktivitas belajar meliputi listening, singging, dan playing (mendengar, bernyanyi, dan bermain piano). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui aktivitas listening yang bertahap, aktivitas singging yang mengimitasi dengan memeragakan penjarian sesuai partitur, dan playing di piano secara bergantian tangan kanan, dan tangan kirinya lalu digabungkan, siswa dapat memunculkan respon positif sebagai gejala adanya konsentrasi belajar, serta siswa dapat menguasai karya dalam waktu yang lebih singkat.;--- This study entitled ‘’The Variety of Learning Activity to Improve Students’ Concentration in Learning Piano Grade One in Concordia Music School Bandung’’ was based on the indication of a lack concentration of the Piano grade one students aged between of 8-9 years old in the learning piano process. The aims of the study is to enhance the concentration of piano grade one students’ through various activities; listening, singing, and playing. The research method employed in this study was classroom action research. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interview, journal, and documentation study. The variety of activities were including listening, singing, and playing. The result of the study shows that through gradual listening activity, imitating singing activity with demonstrating students’ fingers based on the musical score, and playing piano by their right and left hand alternately and then being combined, students show a positive responds as an indication of their learning concentration is improved as well as they can master the musical work in a shorter time.
