Abstract

Konsep diri merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi dalam diri setiap individu. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi konsep diri terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas XI SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan studi deskriptif dan desain penelitian korelasional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik sampel jenuh sebanyak 255 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat kontribusi positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dan motivasi berprestasi, (2) secara umum siswa kelas XI SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Bandung cenderung memiliki konsep diri negatif dan sebagian lainnya memiliki konsep diri positif, artinya sebagian siswa sudah memiliki kesadaran mengenai diri sendiri secara menyeluruh dan sebagian lainya belum cukup memiliki kesadaran mengenai dirinya secara menyeluruh, (3) secara umum siswa kelas XI SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Bandung cemderung memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan sebagian lainnya berada pada kategori sedang, artinya siswa telah memiliki rasa tanggung jawab, disiplin dan dapat memanfaatkan kesempatan serta sebagian siswa lainnya masih kurang dalam hal tanggung jawab dan memanfaatkan kesempatan. ;--- The self-concept is one of the most factors that affect achievement motivation in every individual. Generally, this study aims to find the contribution of self-concept to the achievement motivation of the eleven grade students of SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Bandung Academic Year 2015/2016. The research adopted quantitative approach with descriptive study and correlational research design. A number of 225 students were taken from the population as sample with saturation sampling technique. The results showed that (1) self concept contributed positively and significantly to achievement motive (2) generally, eleven grade students of SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Bandung tend to have a negative self-concept and some others students have a positive self-concept, which mean the student already have awareness about themselves thoroughly, and some others have enough awareness about their self thoroughly, (3) generally, eleven grade students of SMA Angkasa Lanud Husein Bandung tend to have a high level of achievement motivation and some others are in the medium level, which mean that students to have a sense of responsibilities discipline, and can take advantage of opportunities as well as, and most other students are still lacking in terms of responsibilities and take advantage of opportunities.
