Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi awal mengenai motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional siswa di SMPN 2 Pamulihan. Permasalahan yang diangkat yaitu : Apakah permainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IX A di SMP N 2 Pamulihan Sumedang?, Apakah permainan tradisional dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas IX A di SMP N 2 Pamulihan Sumedang?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional terhadap motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam pembelajaran penjas. Metode penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian dilaksanakan terhadap 20 siswa SMP NEGERI 2 PAMULIHAN. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner motivasi belajar dan kuesioner tentang kecerdasan emosional. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji independent sample t test diperoleh nilai sig = 0,001 untuk motivasi belajar dan nilai sig. = 0,011 kecerdasan emosional, sehingga nilai sig. baik motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional < 0,05 jadi Ha diterima. Kesimpulan terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar dan kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas IX A di SMP Negeri 2 Pamulihan. ;---This research is motivated by the results of preliminary observations concerning learning motivation and emotional intelligence of students in SMPN 2 Pamulihan. Issues raised are: Is the traditional games can improve students' motivation in class IX A SMPN 2 Pamulihan Sumedang ?, Is traditional games can improve emotional intelligence of students of class IX A in SMPN 2 Pamulihan Sumedang ?. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect on motivation to learn traditional games and emotional intelligence of students in physical education. Experimental research methods. The research was conducted on 20 students of SMPN 2 Pamulihan. The instrument used was a questionnaire motivation to learn and a questionnaire about emotional intelligence. Based on the results of test calculations independent sample t test was obtained sig = 0.001 for the motivation to learn and sig. = 0.011 emotional intelligence, so sig. good learning motivation and emotional intelligence <0.05 so Ha is received. Conclusions increased learning motivation and emotional intelligence of students of class IX A in SMPN 2 Pamulihan.
