Abstract
Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya kemampuan kreativitas siswa yang ditandai oleh siswa yang belum dapat mengungkapkan ide atau gagasan secara lancar dan siswa belum optimal dalam mengemukakan beragam pemecahan masalah secara kreatif. Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir untuk menghasilkan suatu ide atau gagasan yang unik, yang ditandai dengan kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian dan kerincian. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran kreativitas siswa SD Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Populasi berjumlah 185 siswa sedangkan sampel sebanyak 100 siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran instrumen tes kreativitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan gambaran umum kreativitas siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 48% dengan rata-rata skor 58,5. Tingkat kreativitas berdasarkan setiap aspek yaitu aspek kelancaran, fleksibilitas, originalitas termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan elaborasi termasuk kategori sedang. Kreativitas pada kategori tinggi itu menunjukan bahwa pencapaian tingkat perkembangan siswa secara umum sudah baik pada setiap aspek kreativitas. Siswa memiliki kemampuan untuk menghasilkan gagasan atau ide yang baru, memiliki kemampuan menghasilkan jawaban yang beragam, mampu menghasilkan jawaban yang berbeda jika dibandingkan dengan orang lain (unik). Tetapi tidak menutup kemungkinan kreativitas siswa dapat menurun oleh karena itu diperlukan rancangan berupa layanan dasar bimbingan untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan kepada guru, pihak sekolah, pihak UPTLBK UPI dan penelitian selanjutnya.;---The study was motivated by the creativity of students’ optimal capability which is characterized by students who have not been able to express an idea or ideas fluently and students who have not optimal yet in expressing a variety of creative problem solving. Creativity is the ability of students to think in producing an idea or ideas that are unique, characterized by fluency, flexibility, originality and detail. The purpose of this study was to describe the creativity of students in SD Laboratorium Percontohan Indonesia University of Education. The research approach is used quantitative with descriptive research method. The population was 185 students, while a sample was 100 students are taken by using simple random sampling technique. The data collected was obtained from the results of the test instrument of creativity. The result was showed a general description of students creativity at high category with a percentage of 48% with an average score of 58,5 and the level of creativity based on aspects fluency, flexibility, originality included in the high category and elaboration at medium category. Creativity in the high category shows that the achievement level of students' progress in general has been good in every aspect of creativity. Students have the ability to generate ideas or new ideas, have the ability to produce a variety of responses, capable of producing a different answer than the others (unique). But do not rule out the possibility of students creativity can be decreased, therefore the researcher devised a basic service to develop the creativity of elementary school students. The research recommendations addressed to the teacher, the school and further researcher.
