Abstract

Perkembangan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) mengalami penurunan kinerja. Hal tersebut diakibatkan kinerja pegawai yang kurang optimal. Salah satu BUMD yang mengalami penurunan kinerja pegawai adalah PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur. Situasi ini membuat PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur untuk menciptakan strategi guna mengingkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan upaya meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pegawainya. Upaya pemenuhan kepuasan kerja pegawai dirancang oleh PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur dengan mengefektifkan komunikasi kerja dalam perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran komunikasi kerja. (2) mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja, (3) mengetahui gambaran kinerja pegawai, (4) mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, (5) mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur dan (6) mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur. Variabel (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah komunikasi kerja, variabel (Y) kepuasan kerja, dan variabel (Z) adalah kinerja pegawai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel yaitu nonprobability sampling menggunakan sampling jenuh yang berjumlah 89 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi liniear sederhana dengan alat bantu software komputer Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 21.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran komunikasi kerja dalam kategori efektif, gambaran kepuasan kerja pegawai dalam kategori puas, gambaran kinerja pegawai dalam kategori tinggi, kepuasan kerja dipengaruhi oleh komunikasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh kepuasan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, direkomendasikan perusahaan melaksanakan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja. Dalam segi komunikasi direkomendasikan agar pimpinan memperbaiki komunikasi kebawah dengan cara menmperbaiki efektifitas media komunikasi, sementara untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai direkomendasikan agar pimpinan rutin melakukan pengawasan kerja terhadap pegawai. --- BUMD have recently experienced a decline in performance. This is due to sub-optimal performance of employees. One BUMD decreased employee performance is PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur. This situation makes PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur to create a strategy to remind the employee's performance with efforts to improve the job satisfaction of employees. Efforts to comply with employee satisfaction designed by PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur with effective communication in the enterprise work. This study aims to (1) description about work communication. (2) description about job satisfaction, (3) description about employee performance, (4) the effect of job satisfaction on communication, (5) the effect of job satisfaction on PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti’s employee performance and (6) the effect of communication on PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti’s employee performance. The object that becomes the unit of analysis in this study were employees PERUM DAM Tirta Mukti Kab. Cianjur. Variable (X) in this study was the work of communication, variable (Y) job satisfaction, and variable (Z) is the performance of employees. This type of research is descriptive verification. The method used is explanatory survey with a sample that is nonprobability sampling technique using saturation sampling totaling 89 respondents. Data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression with computer software tools for Statistical Product Service Solutions (SPSS) 21.0 for windows. The findings in this study indicate that the employment in the category of effective communication, employee satisfaction in the category of satisfaction, employee performance in the high category, job satisfaction is positively influenced by the work of communication and employee performance positively influenced by job satisfaction. Based on these results, it is recommended the company conduct training to improve job satisfaction. In terms of communication is recommended in order to improve communication led down by way menmperbaiki effectiveness of media communications, while improving employee performance leadership recommended that routine oversight of the work of the employees.
