Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya minat belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni tari pada siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri 1 Bayongbong Garut. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar seni tari melalui strategi hypnoteaching. Oleh karena itu peneliti merumuskan permasalahan sebagai berikut. Bagaimana minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran seni tari sebelum strategi hypnoteaching, bagaimana proses pembelajaran seni tari dengan penerapan strategi hypnoteaching, bagaimana hasil minat belajar pada pembelajaran seni tari setelah diterapkannya strategi hypnoteching. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang terdir dari 4 siklus, siklus itu dilakukan secara berulang, berdasarkan refleksi pada siklus sebelumnya, sampai suatu masalah itu dianggap selesai. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penerapan strategi hypnoteaching dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri 1 Bayongbong. Hal ini ditandai dengan rata rata nilai awal seluruh aspek minat siswa yaitu 62,70, dan nilai rata-rata akhir seluruh aspek minat siswa yaitu 78,47. Oleh karena itu pembelajaran seni tari dengan menggunakan strategi hypnoteaching dapat menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.;--- This research was motivated by the lack of students interest toward learning dance education on students of class VII A in SMP Negeri 1 Bayongbong Garut this Classroom Action Research aims to Improve Students Interest on learning. The dance education through hypnoteaching strategy. Therefore, the researcher proposes the following issues. How students interest towards learning the dance education before using hypnoteaching strategy, how the process of learning the dance education by using hypnoteaching strategy, and how the result of students interest on learning the dance education after using hypnoteaching strategy. The method that researcher on this research in classroom action research (PTK) which con consists of 4 cycles, those cycles had done repeatedly based on the reflection pf previous cycle until the issue is completed. The result of this research stated that the implementation of hypnoteaching strategy improve students interest on class VII A in SMP Negeri 1 Bayongbong Garut. It can be seen from the mean of students on all aspects is 62,70, and he final mean score of students interest on all aspects is 78,47. Therefore learning the dance eduction by using hypnoteaching strategy can be the alternative way to improve students learning interest.
