Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan analisis siswa di kelas X yang terlihat dari hasil test kemampuan analisis, dari sekian banyak siswa yang mengikuti test sebagian besar siswa kelas X tergolong katagori rendah dan sangat rendah dalam menganalsis pembelajran basic air craft technology knowledge. Penelitian penerapan metode inkuiri ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa (Studi Eksperimen Kuasi pada Mata Pelajaran Basic Aircraft Technology Knowledge di Kelas X SMK N 12 Bandung). Adapun sampel kelas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas X- TPU 9 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X- TPU 7 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan yang menggunakan metode inkuiri sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional (ceramah). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen), dengan subjek terdiri dari dua. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda yang soalnya masuk katagori soal-soal analisis pada kompetensi dasar dasar aircraft electronics & electrical fundamental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran inquiri dikatakan berhasil dari pada kelas kontrol. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil peningkatan N-gain bahwa nilai rata-rata N-gain kelas eksprimen yang menggunakan metode inquiri lebih besar daripada nilai rata-rata N-gain kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvnsional (Ceramah).; The problem in this research is the lack of analytical skills of students in class X seen from the test results analysis capabilities, of the total 60 students who take the test there were 39 students of of the many students who take the test most students of class X belonging to the category of low and very low in analytic basic air craft technology knowledge lesson. This study on the Application of Inquiry Method To Improve Student Analysis Capability (Quasi-Experimental Study on Basic Aircraft Technology Knowledge Lesson in Class X SMK N 12 Bandung). The grade samples in this study using two X- TPU grade 9 as an experimental class and class X TPU 7 as the control class. In the experimental group was given treatment using the methods of inquiry while the control group using conventional methods (lectures). The method used is a quasi-experimental methods (quasi), with the subject consists of the two. The data collection is done by the written test in the form of multiple choice questions which entered the category because the problems of analysis on the basis of the basic competencies of aircraft electronics and electrical fundamental. The results show that learning in the classroom experiments using the inquiry method of learning is successful than the control class. It can be seen from the increase in N-gain that the average value of the N-gain the experimental class using the inquiry method is greater than the average value of the N-gain control class teaching methods konvnsional (Lecture).
