Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan ibu mengenai konsep bermain terhadap tumbuh kembang anak toddler, peran ibu sangat penting dalam aktifitas bermain anak. Ditemukan 2 anak di kelurahan Padasuka pada masa tumbuh kembang mengalami perlambatan yang dapat disebabkan kurangnya pemenuhan kebutuhan pada diri anak termasuk di dalamnya adalah kebutuhan bermain. Bermain merupakan hal yang penting untuk tumbuh kembang anak baik secara fisik, emosi, mental, intelektual, kreatifitas dan sosial. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional sedangkan metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Responden adalah ibu yang memiliki anak toddler dengan teknik Multistage sampling maka jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 105 ibu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup dimana ibu sudah mengetahui mengenai konsep bermain terhadap tumbuh kembang. Ibu sudah berperan aktif dalam aktifitas bermain karena mayoritas ibu pekerjaannya sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Adapun rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu diharapkan dapat lebih meningkatkan perannya dalam aktifitas bermain anak. ; This study aims to describe the mother’s knowledge about the playing concept on growth and development toddler, mother's role is very important in a child's play activities. Found 2 children in the village Padasuka during the growth slowdown may be due to a lack of fulfillment in children including the need to play. Play is essential to child's physical, emotional, mental, intellectual, creative and social development. The study design used is cross sectional whereas this research method using descriptive quantitative research. Respondents involved in this study were mothers which have toddler with multistage sampling technique, the number of samples used in this study were 105 mothers. The results show that the majority have sufficient knowledge of where the mother is aware of the concept of playing against growth. Mother is actively involved in play activities for the majority of women work as housewives. The recommendation in this research is the mother is expected to further enhance its role in children's play activities.
