Abstract

Perkembangan industri kecil dan menengah (IKM) belakangan ini mengalami penurunan yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya kinerja karyawan, akibatnya perusahaan sulit untuk mencapai tujuannya. Salah satu perusahaan yang mengalami rendahnya kinerja karyawan adalah Pabrik Sepatu Garsel Cibaduyut di Bandung. Hal tersebut membuat Pabrik Sepatu Garsel Cibaduyut menciptakan strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan meningkatkan technical skill dan kompensasi non finansial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) gambaran technical skill pada karyawan Pabrik Sepatu Garsel, (2) gambaran kompensasi non finansial pada karyawan Pabrik Sepatu Garsel, (3) gambaran kinerja karyawan Pabrik Sepatu Garsel, (4) pengaruh technical skillterhadap kinerja karyawan karyawan Pabrik Sepatu Garsel, (5) pengaruh kompensasi non finansial terhadap kinerja karyawan Pabrik Sepatu Garsel. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan cross sectional method. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan alat bantu program SPSS 21.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gambaran technical skill dalam kategori cukup baik, gambaran kompensasi non finansial dalam kategori baik, gambaran kinerja karyawan dalam kategori baik, kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi secara positif oleh technical skill, kinerja karyawan dipengaruhi secara positif oleh kompensasi non finansial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, direkomendasikan sebagai dasar untuk dilakukannya penelitian lain mengenai technical skill dan kompensasi non finansial dengan indicator dan objek yang berbeda.; The development of the small and medium industry (SMI) lately experienced a decline caused by the low performance of the employee, as a result the company is difficult to achieve the goal. One of the companies that are experiencing low performance of employees is Shoe Factory Garsel Cibaduyut. It makes the Shoe Factory Garsel Cibaduyut creates strategies to imptove the performance of employees by increasing the technical skill and non financial compensation. The research aims to find out (1) the description oftechnical skill,(2) the description of thenon-financial compensation, (3) the description of employee Performance. (4) the influence of technical skill on employee performance, (5) the influence of non-financial compensation on employee performamce Shoe Factory Garsel Cibaduyut. This research uses descriptive and verificative technique with explanatory survey method. Data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression with SPSS computer software tools 21.0 for windows. The result of this research is the description of technical skill in a good enough category, the description of non-financial compensation in good category, the description of employee performance in good category,employee performance is influenced positively by the technical skill, employee performance positively influenced by non-financial compensation. Based on these results, it is recommended as a base for doing other studies of technical skill and non-financial compensation to the indicator and different objects.
