Abstract
Penelitian ini berangkat dari keresahan peneliti terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru yang belum mencapai kondisi optimal dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui lesson study yang dilakukan oleh MGMP PKn SMP Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, menganalisis tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan lesson study, mengidentifikasi pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru setelah mengikuti lesson study, dan mengidentifikasi kendala serta upaya yang dilakukan oleh MGMP PKn SMP Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dalam melaksanakaan lesson study. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumnetasi. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) MGMP mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan menggalakkan program pengembangan profesi dan pemberian motivasi; 2) Tahapan lesson study baik perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuannya; 3) Pelaksanaan lesson study memberi dampak positif terhadap perkembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru baik secara manajerial maupun praktik pembelajaran; 4) Kendala pelaksanaan terletak pada rendahnya motivasi guru mengikuti MGMP dan jauhnya jarak yang harus ditempuh. Kesimpulannya, lesson study mampu mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam rangka memperbaiki mutu pembelajaran PKn di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. ; This study departs from the unrest researchers pedagogical competence of teachers who have not achieved optimal conditions in favor of improving the quality of national education. This study aims to see how the development of pedagogical competence of teachers with lesson study conducted by MGMP PKn SMP Ogan Ilir, analyzing stages of implementation of lesson study, identified the development of pedagogical competence of teachers after following the lesson study, and identify constraints and the efforts taken by MGMP PKn SMP Ogan Ilir to implement lesson study. The approach in this study is a qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The result shower 1) MGMP develop pedagogical competence of teachers by promoting professional development programs and motivation; 2) Stages of lesson study planning, execution and reflection goes well for their intended purpose; 3) The implementation of lesson study gave a positive impact on the development of pedagogical competence of teachers both managerial and instructional practices; 4) obstacle lies in the implementation of low motivation of teachers to follow MGMP and distances that must be taken. In conclusion, lesson study is able to develop pedagogical competence of teachers in order to improve the quality of teaching civics in Ogan Ilir.
