    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang permainan tenis meja, serta rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam bermain tenis meja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pengaruh gaya mengajar resiprokal dan gaya mengajar komando terhadap hasil belajar tenis meja siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Pre-test and Post-test Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes service, tes back board dan tes bermain. Hasil data penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk kelasgaya mengajar resiprokal sebesar 107,20 sedangkan nilai rata-rata untuk kelas gaya mengajar komando sebesar 103,40. Hasil perhitungan hipotesis menunjukkan nilai thitung sebesar 3,46 dan ttabel sebesar 2,021 sehingga –thitung< ttabel<thitung yaitu -3,46 < 2,021 < 3,46. Pengujian hipotesis tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima atau H0 ditolak artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengaruh gaya mengajar resiprokal dan gaya mengajar komando terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran permainan tenis meja.

    This research is motivated by the lack of knowledge and understanding of students about the game of table tennis, as well as the low student skills in table tennis. This study aimed to compare the effect of reciprocal teaching style and commando teaching style on learning outcomes table tennis in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya. The method used is an experimental method to the design of pre-test and post-test design. Sampling using random sampling. The instrument used is a test service, test board and test playing back. Results of research data obtained average values for reciprocal teaching kelasgaya at 107.20, while the average value for the command class teaching style of 103.40. Hypothetical calculation results show tcount 3.46 and ttable2,021 so-tcount <ttable <tcount i.e -3.46 <2.021 <3.46. The hypothesis testing concluded that H1 is accepted or rejected H0 means that there are significant differences between the effects of reciprocal teaching style and commando teaching style on learning outcomes of students in learning the game of table tennis.
