Abstract

Kabupaten Cianjur memiliki potensi wisata olahraga yang menantang. Salah satunya wisata pendakian di Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango untuk selanjutnya akan ditulis TNGGP merupakan objek wisata yang paling populer hingga ke mancanegara. Kawasan TNGGP adalah salah satu dari lima taman nasional tertua di Indonesia dan ditetapkan sebagai World Heritage Site dengan ketinggian puncak kurang lebih 3.019 m dpl, kawasan seluas 22.851,03 ha ini mencakup tiga kabupaten, yaitu Bogor, Cianjur, dan Sukabumi. Meskipun jumlah kunjungan partisipan ke TNGGP terus mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2013, namun secara persentase mengalami penurunan pertumbuhan dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh adventure tourist motivation terhadap sport decision di TNGGP. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 100 partisipan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan waktu penelitian kurang dari satu tahun (cross-sectional method). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah systematic random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adventure tourist motivation partisipan di TNGGP berada pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan sport decision partisipan TNGGP berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. Adventure tourist motivation terdiri dari excitement, nature, physical activity dan risk taking. Sub variabel excitement memiliki pengaruh tertinggi sedangkan yang terendah yaitu physical activity. Sport decision terdiri dari physical surroundings, social surroundings, time, reasons of participation dan antecedent states. Penilaian tertinggi untuk variabel sport decision yaitu pada faktor antecedent states sedangkan social surroundings mendapat penilaian terendah. Secara simultan adventure tourist motivation berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sport decision. Sedangkan secara parsial seluruh sub variabel excitement, nature, physical activity dan risk taking berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sport decision.

Cianjur district has tourism potential challenging sport. One of them climbing tour in the National Park of Mount Gede Pangrango henceforth be written TNGGP is the most popular tourist attraction to foreign countries. TNGGP area is one of the five oldest national park in Indonesia and designated as a World Heritage Site with a summit elevation of approximately 3,019 m above sea level, an area of 22851.03 hectares include three districts, namely Bogor, Cianjur and Sukabumi. Although the number of visits to TNGGP participants continued to increase in 2013, but the percentage has decreased growth compared to the previous year. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the influence of adventure tourist motivation toward sport decision in national park of mount gede pangrango. The population in this study 100 participants. The method used is descriptive and verification method with a time of less than one year study (cross-sectional method). The sampling technique used was a systematic random sampling. The data analysis technique used is the technique of multiple regression analysis. The results showed that adventure tourist motivation participant in TNGGP has high category. While sport decision participant in TNGGP has high enough category. Adventure tourist motivation has excitement, nature, physical activity and risk taking. Excitement has the highest influence while the lowest is physical activity. Sport decision has physical surroundings, social surroundings, time, reasons of participation and antecedent states. The highest ratings for sports decision variables are the factors antecedent states while the social surroundings received the lowest ratings. Simultaneously adventure tourist motivation significantly influence sports decision. While partially entire sub-variables excitement, nature, physical activity and risk taking significantly influence sports decision.
