Abstract

The purpose of research is to know how big the influence of study performance and family background to entrepeneurship motivation for student of Architecture Technic and Architechture Education in DPTA UPI. Number of research population is 66 students, and using sample from 2011 students which number is 61. The method that used in this research is quantitative approach with descriptive corelation. The analysis of pre-requisite test consists of normality test and simple regression.
Data collection instrument in this research using questionnaire to get family background and entrepeneurship motivation, which created base on some points that already settled before. Family background questionnaire is used to measure X2 variable, while entrepeneurship motivation questionnaire is used to measure Y variable. The result of data processing found that: The influence of study performance to entrepeneurship motivation for both Achitecture Technic and Architecture Education students is low. The influence of family background to entrepeneurship motivation for the students of Achitecture Technic is low , while for the students of Architecture Education is very low. The influence of study performance and family background for student of Architecture Technic is low, while for students of Architechture Education is very low.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh prestasi belajar dan latar belakang keluarga terhadap motivasi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa Teknik Arsitektur dan Pendidikan Arsitektur di DPTA UPI. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 66 mahasiswa dan sampel yang diambil adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2011 yang berjumlah 61 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasi. Pengujian prasyarat analisis meliputi uji normalitas dan regresi sederhana.
Instrument pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket untuk latar belakang keluarga dan motivasi berwirausaha di buat berdasarkan kisi-kisi yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Angket latar belakang digunakan untuk mengukur variable X2, sedangkan angket motivasi berwirausaha digunakan untuk mengukur variable Y. Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh: Prestasi belajar terhadap motivasi berwirausaha memberi pengaruh sangat rendah pada Prodi Teknik Arsitektur, begitupula halnya dengan prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur memberi pengaruh sangat rendah antara prestasi belajar terhadap motivasi berwirausaha, untuk Prodi Teknik Arsitektur pengaruh latar belakang dengan motivasi berwirausaha rendah, sedangkan Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur latar belakang terhadap motivasi berwirausaha memberi pengaruh sangat rendah. Prestasi belajar dan latar belakang keluarga memiliki pengaruh rendah pada Prodi Teknik Arsitektur, untuk Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Arsitektur prestasi belajar dan latar belakang keluarga dan motivasi berwirausaha memberi pengaruh yang berbeda yakni sangat rendah.
