Abstract
Remaja sering digambarkan sebagai periode storm and drang. Dalam periode ini remaja sering mengalami gejala emosi dan tekanan jiwa sehingga perilaku mereka mudah menyimpang dan menimbulkan perilaku agresif. Perilaku agresif pada remaja terjadi karena banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi, atau memperbesar peluang munculnya, seperti faktor biologis, temperamen yang sulit, dan pengaruh pergaulan yang negatif. Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas restrukturisasi kognitif untuk mereduksi perilaku agresif siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi. Sampel penelitian seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA yang berjumlah 118 siswa. Jenis instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah inventori berdasarkan teori agresif dari Krahe. Jumlah butir pernyataan yang digunakan sebanyak 66 butir pernyataan dengan lima alternatif pilihan jawaban. Hasil studi menunjukkan sebanyak 30 siswa termasuk dalam kategori agresif dan 88 siswa termasuk dalam kategori tidak agresif. Pemberian intervensi konseling restrukturisasi kognitif sebanyak enam sesi. Hasil uji empirik menunjukkan bahwa konseling restrukturisasi kognitif efektif untuk mereduksi perilaku agresif siswa. Tidak terdapat perbedaan keefektifan dalam aspek dan jenis kelamin dalam perilaku agresif siswa. Rekomendasi untuk guru BK atau konselor sekolah dalam melakukan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif yang perlu diperhatikan adalah proses dinamika perubahan yang dialami dalam diri konseli, terutama dalam proses berfikir konseli sebelum bertindak. ---------- The teenagers could be described as the storm and drang periode. In this period the teenagers often got the symptoms of emotional and depressive therefore they are susceptible to diverged and aggressive. Aggressive behavior in teens caused by many factors affected, or increase the chance of emergence, such as biological factors, temperamented severe, and the negative influence in the association.The research aims to test the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring to reduce aggressive behavior of students. Research approach used in this research is quantitative, while the design of the research is a quasi-experimental.The samples of this researchare 118 students of Senior High School studentsof XI class.The type of instrument research used is based on the theory aggressive inventory of Krahe. The number of grains statements is used as much as 66-point declaration with five alternative answers. The study shows many as 30 students included in the category of aggressive and 88 students included in the category are not aggressive. Giving cognitive restructuring counseling interventions conducted six sessions. Empirical test results show that cognitive restructuring counseling is generally effective to reduce aggressive behavior of students; there is no difference within effectiveness and gender aspects in aggressive behavior of students.Recommendations to guidance and counseling teacher or school counselor in cognitive restructuring techniques to note is the dynamic process of changes experienced within the counselee, especially in the counselee thought processes before acting.
