Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perilaku siswa ketika pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh pendekatan teaching game for understanding (TGfU) dengan pendekatan tradisional terhadap perilaku sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran permainan pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dan desain pretest-posttest group design. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas XI SMAN 2 Bandung dan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampling purposive, sampel dibagi kedalam 2 kelompok perlakuan. Dianalisis menggunakan uji t paired dua pihak. Diperoleh data kelompok pendekatan TGfU t_hitung (2,502) > t_tabel (2,048), kelompok pendekatan tradisional t_hitung (1,419) < t_tabel (2,048), dan gain kedua kelompok t_hitung (1,920) < t_tabel (2,048). Hasil akhir membuktikan pendekatan TGfU memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran permainan pendidikan jasmani, Sedangkan pendekatan tradisional tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan. Sehingga pendekatan TGfU memberikan pengaruh lebih baik dibandingkan pendekatan tradisional terhadap peningkatan perilaku sosial siswa dalam pembelajaran permainan pendidikan jasmani. katakunci: Pendekatan, Pembelajaran, Teaching Game for Understanding (TGfU), Tradisional, Perilaku Sosial   This research was conducted by the students behavior in learning of physical education. The objectives of this research is to find the differences between the influence of teaching game for understanding (TGfU) and traditional approach of students social behavior in learning game of physical education. This research used an experimental approach and the design of the research is pretest-posttest group design. The population was on the 11st grade students at SMAN 2 Bandung and took 30 students for sampling that were taken by sampling purposive technique, the sample was divided into two groups. The analysis used t paired dua pihak test. The data showed that (TGfU) group t_hitung (2,502) > t_tabel (2,048), traditional approach t_hitung (1,419) < t_tabel (2,048), and gain of the two groups t_hitung (1,920) < t_tabel (2,048). The final result proved that the TGFU gave the significant influence toward student’s social behavior in leaning game of physical education. While traditional approach did not.
