Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi keingintahuan peneliti untuk mengujicobakan keefektifan metode koneksi baca-tulis dalam pembelajaran menulis teks esai naratif personal seingga mampu memberikan alternatif model pembelajaran dalam mengatasi permasalahan kemampuan menulis teks esai naratif personal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini mengambil data dari sumber data siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Bandung. Berdasarkan penghitungan uji hipotesis dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = 58 diperoleh hasil ttabel sebesar 2,0021 dan thitung sebesar 3,86. Hal ini berarti thitung (3,86) > ttabel (2,0021). Dengan kata lain, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks esai naratif personal di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah kelas eksperimen mendapat perlakuan metode koneksi baca-tulis dalam pembelajaran menulis teks esai naratif personal. Metode koneksi baca-tulis efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks esai naratif personal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya, metode koneksi baca-tulis efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis teks esai naratif personal. This research is motivated curiosity of researchers to try out the effectiveness of the connection method of learning to read and write in a personal narrative essay writing text seingga able to provide an alternative model of learning in overcoming problems of the ability to write a personal narrative essay text. The method used in this study is a quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. Based on the calculation hypothesis test with 95% confidence level and degrees of freedom (df) = 58 result ttable thitung 2.0021 and 3.86. This means thitung (3.86)> t table (2.0021). In other words, there is a significant difference between the ability to write a personal narrative essay text in the experimental class and control class after class experiment treated the connection method of learning to read and write in a personal narrative essay writing text. Read-write connection methods are effective in learning to write a personal narrative essay text. Based on this it can be concluded that Ha Ho accepted and rejected. That is, the read-write connection methods are effective in learning to write a personal narrative essay text.
