Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa Kelas X Program Keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bandung yang ditandai dengan banyaknya siswa yang memperoleh nilai dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) pada kompetensi dasar menjelaskan komunikasi tertulis di mata pelajaran Korespondensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menerapkan Media Video Pembelajaran Berbasis Tutorial dengan kelas yang menerapkan Media Konvensional berupa Power Point. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan terhadap siswa Kelas X AP 1 dan Kelas X AP 3 Program Keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Negeri 3 Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan Media Video Pembelajaran Berbasis Tutorial (X AP 1) dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan Media Konvensional berupa Power Point (X AP 3). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan adalah uji-t dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2010. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas yang menerapkan menerapkan Media Video Pembelajaran Berbasis Tutorial dengan kelas yang menerapkan Media Konvensional berupa Power Point. Namun hasil peningkatan nilai pre test ke post test menunjukkan proses pembelajaran bermakna/berarti.---------- The background of the research is the low learning outcomes of the tenth grade students of Office Administration Excertise Program in SMK Negeri 3 Bandung City as marked by the large number of students obtaining grades grades below the Minimum Passing Grade (KKM) in the basic competence of explaining written communication on the subject of Correspondence. The research aims to find whether there is a difference in the learning outcomes between students in the class implementing Tutorial-Based Instructional Video and those in the class implementing conventional media in the form of power point presentations. The research adopted a true experimental method with posttest only control group design and pretest-posttest control group design. It was conducted to the tenth grade students of X AP 1 and X AP 3 classes of Office Administrative Expertise Program in SMK Negeri 3 Bandung City. The research divided the students into two classes, the experimental class implementing Tutorial-Based Instructional Video (X AP 1) and the control class implementing Conventional Media in the form of power point presentations (X AP 3). Data were analyzed with t-test employing Microsoft Excel 2010 to find the differences. The results show that there was no significant difference in the learning outcomes between students in the class implementing Tutotial-Based Instructional video and those in the class implementing conventional media in the form of power point presentations. However, there was an increase in the posttest grades compared to those of the prestest,indicating that the instructioonal process was significant or meaningful.
