Abstract
---------- The purpose of this study was to find outcome the learning completeness of students in learning the basic motion sprint by traditional games. The study was conducted in class V students of SDN (state elementary school) Sukarasa Bandung, which has 36 students, consisting of 17 males and 19 females, by using a classroom action research (CAR) carrying out two cycles. On the present research, the CAR method used was an observation method. The instruments used included some aspects of movement run assessment, from the positions of bodies during running, swings of arms, to the motions of feet steps. From the result of research, data was obtained from the result of observation. From the aspect of planning/pre-observation, the enhancement of the students learning completeness in cycle 1 was 58%, increasing from the initial data of 36%, and in the cycle 2 the students learning completeness was enhanced into 81%, increasing from the initial data of 58%. A capacity of basic motion sprint was said as being enhanced if it were more that 70% of the total students or sample and it was said as not yet enhanced if it were less than 70% of the total students or sample. It could be concluded from the classroom action research result that the implementation of traditional games enhanced students learning completeness.
