Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Pelatihan Aural untuk Grade 4 Piano Berstandar ABRSM di Sekolah Musik Melodia Bandung” yang bertujuan untuk memaparkan dan mendeskripsikan masalah meliputi pelatihan pengulangan melodi dan sight singing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Secara operasional, data dikumpulkan dengan tekhnik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Semua data yang dikumpul melalui tekhnik reduksi, display, dan verifikasi data. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah siswa masih terdapat kesulitan dalam menyanyikan melodi dengan frase dan menyanyikan melodi interval turun. Pelatihan kemampuan aural di Sekolah Musik Melodia dilaksanakan hanya dua bulan ketika menjelang ujian ABRSM dengan alokasi waktu 15 menit tiap pertemuannya Pada pelatihan, terdapat proses belajar di dalamnya dimana ada beberapa aspek yang saling berhubungan. Lingkungan, kurikulum, guru, sarana dan fasilitas merupakan unsur dari luar siswa yang memengaruhi proses belajar. Selain itu, minat, bakat, motivasi, kecerdasan, kemampuan kognitif dan kondisi fisiologi merupakan unsur dari dalam yang dimiliki siswa sebagai modal dalam perkembangan belajaranya. Berdasarkan semua temuan tersebut diharapkan mempunyai manfaat bagi semua pihak, sehingga berdampak positif bagi pembaca. ----------This thesis entitled "Aural Training for Piano Grade 4 with ABRSM Standards in Bandung Melodia Music School" which aims to explain and describe the problem included training of melodic repetition exercises and sight singing. The method used in this research is the case study through a qualitative approach. Operationally, the data collection used in this study was observation, interviews, and documentation. All data were collected through reduction techniques, display, and verification of data. The findings of this study were students still face difficulties in singing the melody with phrases and sing the melody with down intervals. Aural skills training in Melodia Music School was held just for two months towards the ABRSM exams with the time allocation 15 minutes for each meeting. In training process, there are some interconnected aspects in learning process inside. Environment, curriculum, teachers, facilities and infrastructure are external elements that affect students in learning process. Additionally, interest, aptitude, motivation, intelligence, cognitive abilities and physiological condition are an internal element of student as an asset of their learning development. Based on all these findings, this research is expected have benefits for all parties, so that the three is positive impact for the reader.
