Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan lembar kerja praktikum pembuatan mayones berbasis inkuiri pada topik pembuatan koloid untuk peserta didik tingkat SMA/MA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap studi pendahuluan (meliputi studi kepustakaan, survei lapangan, dan penyusunan produk awal) dan tahap pengembangan model (meliputi uji coba terbatas). Sumber data adalah Lembar Kerja Praktikum pada buku teks Kimia kelas XI, peserta didik kelas XI SMA di kota Bandung, pendidik di tingkat sekolah maupun di tingkat universitas. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar analisis LKP pembuatan mayones pada topik pembuatan koloid dalam buku sumber, lembar optimasi prosedur pembuatan mayones, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan tahapan inkuiri, pedoman penilaian jawaban peserta didik terhadap tugas-tugas pada LKP, lembar penilaian pendidik, dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil analisis terhadap buku sumber dan survei lapangan menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik LKP pembuatan koloid yang beredar saat ini adalah berupa instruksi langsung (cookbook). Hasil optimasi prosedur praktikum pembuatan koloid sebagai berikut, digunakan volume larutan cuka 10 mL, volume minyak sayur 10 mL, waktu pengocokan 2 menit 54 detik dengan jenis lampu yang digunakan untuk pengujian efek Tyndall adalah lampu laser. Keterlaksanaan LKP yang dikembangkan berdasarkan keterlaksanaan tahap-tahap inkuiri tergolong sangat baik (91,82%). Keterlaksanaan berdasarkan jawaban peserta didik terhadap tugas-tugas yang diberikan dalam LKP menunjukkan bahwa LKP yang dikembangkan juga tergolong sangat baik (87,39%). Penilaian pendidik terhadap LKP terhadap kesesuaian konsep tergolong sangat baik (86,09%), tata bahasa tergolong sangat baik (82,17%), dan tata letak serta perwajahan tergolong sangat baik (82,81%). Respon peserta didik terhadap sub pokok materi pembuatan koloid tergolong sangat baik (84,57%) serta respon peserta didik terhadap praktikum menggunakan LKP yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat baik (85,05%).----------This research aims to develop practical worksheets (LKP) in making mayonnaise which based on inquiry for making colloids topic for high schools students. The method used is research and development method that is conducted in two stages namely preliminary study stage (include literature studies, field surveys, and the preparation of initial product) and models development stage (including limited trial). The data source is Practical Worksheets in Chemistry textbook for XI Class, high school students in XI class in Bandung, educators in school level and also in university level. The research instrument used are interview data, analysis sheets of LKP for making mayonnaise in making colloids topic in the textbook, sheets of optimazion procedures for making mayonnaise, observation sheets of implementation of inquiry, assessment guidelines of LKP, assessment sheets, and questionnaire sheets for students. After analyzing the textbooks and also conducting field surveys, it shows that the characteristics of LKP that is currently available is in form of direct instruction (cookbook). The results of optimization procedures in making mayonaise is used 10 mL of vinegar solution and 10 mL of vegetable oil with 2 minutes 54 seconds shaking time and used laser light for testing the Tyndall effect. Implementation of LKP that is developed based on inquiry is categorized as very good (91.82%). Implementation based on student’s answers in LKP suggests that the practical worksheets developed is also classified as very good (87.39%). The appropriateness of LKP developed related to the concept is also categorized as very good (86.09%). The grammar and physical appearance that is applied in the worksheets is also categorized as very good (82.17% and 82.81%). The students responses of the subject matter of making-colloids topic is classified as very good (84.57%) which also similar as their responses to practical worksheets developed (85.05%).
