    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kualitas pendidik terhadap mutu pendidikan. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kualitas pendidik merupakan dua faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi mutu pendidikan. Objek penelitian adalah mutu pendidikan sebagai variabel terikat, sedangkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kualitas pendidik sebagai variabel bebas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksplanatori. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah pendidik SMA Negeri Se-Kota Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode proportional random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 171 pendidik pada 5 (lima) SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Data dikumpulkan secara primer melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 171 pendidik SMA Negeri Se-Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah signifikan berpengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan dan kualitas pendidik signifikan berpengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan.----------This study aims to determine the effect of school principal leadership and the quality of teachers on education quality. School principal leadership and teachers quality are the two factors that can affect the quality of education. The object of research is the quality of education as the dependent variable, while the quality of school principal leadership and teachers as independent variables. The research method which was used is the explanatory method. The population is teachers of high school Se-Bandung. The sampling technique in this study is proportional random sampling method, the number of samples are 171 teachers in five (5) high schools in Bandung. Data was collected primarily through a questionnaire which was distributed to 171 high school teachers Se-Bandung. The results showed that the school principal leadership significantly influences the quality of education and quality of teachers would significantly affect the quality of education.
