Abstract

Frekuensi sinyal seismik di lapangan mempunyai bandwidth yang cukup lebar namun tidak semuanya mengandung sinyal seismik yang diinginkan karena sebagian merupakan noise sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kualitas penampang yang dihasilkan baik penetrasi, resolusi dan kandungan noise-nya. Filter lolos-pita merupakan salah satu metode filtering yang mampu menekan noise dalam spektrum frekuensi dari sinyal. Ketepatan pemilihan bandwidth frekuensi yang diloloskan merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam proses filter lolos-pita. Proses filter lolos-pita dilakukan pada data seismik refleksi 2D di Perairan Wetar, Provinsi Maluku. Untuk mendapatkan penampang yang optimal secara kualitatif, dilakukan pengujian bandwidth frekuensi yang bervariasi pada filter lolos-pita. Bandwidth frekuensi yang lebar yang meloloskan seluruh frekuensi pada selubung pertama dari spektrum frekuensi menghasilkan penampang seismik dengan kualitas optimal. Bandwidth frekuensi 5Hz-100Hz menghasilkan penampang seismik terbaik di Perairan Wetar lintasan 15. Hal tersebut terlihat dari resolusi yang tinggi, penetrasi yang dalam dan noise terminimalisir cukup baik dibandingkan dengan penampang yang lain.------------ Frequency seismic signals in the field have a wide enough bandwidth but not all contain the desired seismic signal due in part is noise which can affect the quality of the resulting cross-section of both the penetration, resolution and noise. Band-pass filter is a filtering method capable of suppressing noise within the frequency spectrum of the signal. The accuracy of the election passed frequency bandwidth is very important in the process band-pass filter. Band-pass filter process performed on 2D reflection seismic data in Wetar marine, Maluku. To obtain optimal cross section qualitatively, testing varies on the frequency bandwidth band-pass filter. Wide frequency bandwidth which passed all the frequencies in the first envelope of the frequency spectrum generating seismic section with optimum quality. Bandwidth of 5Hz-100Hz frequency seismic produce best in Wetar marine line 15. It is seen from a high resolution, deep penetration and the of noise quite good compared to other cross-section.
