Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Kreasi Tari Ronggeng Lenco di Desa Curug Rendeng Kecamatan Jalancagak Kabupaten Subang Jawa Barat”. Kesenian Ronggeng Lenco adalah kesenian yang tercipta sebelum kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, yang dulunya sering dipergelarkan untuk menghibur masyarakat di Desa Curug Rendeng, namun kini sudah dipentaskan di luar daerah kelahirannya untuk acara-acara besar, maka dari itu kesenian Ronggeng Lenco mengalami perubahan dari segala sisi. Kesenian Ronggeng Lenco telah diperbaharui oleh Warman, maka dari itu peneliti membatasi permasalahan pada penelitian ini melalui beberapa rumusan masalah yakni meliputi: (1) Bagaimana proses dan hasil kreasi gerak tari Ronggeng Lenco? (2) Bagaimana proses dan hasil kreasi kostum dan rias tari Ronggeng Lenco?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil kreasi gerak tari Ronggeng Lenco, (2) Mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil kreasi kostum dan rias tari Ronggeng Lenco. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori bentuk dan proses penciptaan tari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dari kreasi kesenian Ronggeng Lenco terdapat suatu perubahan dari sebelum diperbaharui dan sesudah diperbaharui menjadi kreasi tari Ronggeng Lenco----------This research is under the title “Creation Of Paid Dancing Lenco in Curug Rendeng village Jalancagak district Subang regency West Java”.paid dancing Lenco art is art was created before independence day of Indonesia Republic, which in the past was showed for entertaining the society in Curug Rendeng village. Howover, now a day it has been showed outside Curug Rendeng village for big ceremonies, so that way paid dancing art Lenco has changed from every sides. Paid dancing art Lenco has been modified by Warman, so researcher limited the problem of the reaserch through some formulation problem are as follow: (1) How is the process and the result of creation paid dancing Lenco movement? (2) How is the process and the result of custem creation and make up paid dancing Lenco?. Aims of research is as follow: (1) To describe process and the result of creation pai dancing Lenco movemrnt. (2) To describe process and the result of custem creation and make up paid dancing Lenco. This research uses type of theory and process of dancing creation. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The techniques to collect the data are through observing, interviewing, documentation and library studying. This research finds that, there is a alternation in paid dancing art beafore modifiying and after modifiying become creation of paid dancing art Lenco
